Ok... so when on Tribble I never bothered to do ground misions. I had heard that they were insanely over-powered and nearly impossible so I have no live to testing comparisons. However a few things did crop up today.
1) I was doing Elite Hromi cluster
2) First ground mission was against Gorn. Nice tough fights but not impossible I never died once although i had a few BO deahts.
3) Second ground mission was against Nausccians (spelling wrong i think). Big difference. They were superbly hard. I had multiple total team deaths. Not a big deal. I eventully completed the mission. The exreme difficulty differnce between the Gorn and the Nauscians was apparent. This may be intential I am simply reporting it as it seems a littel odd.
4) The injury system is supposed to start at level 5 which I assume means Lt. 5. I was Lt. Commander 3 at the time. Thnru those multiple deaths (and they ranked up to 7+ I believe) of me personally and more for my BO due to them dying and me retreating I nor them suffered a single injury. Not even a minor one. Now I don''t think my luck is that good. So I am wondering if the injury system is bugged or if my interpretation of when it should start was off.
5) It used to be that if you killed an enemy during a fight but then subsequently died and had to respawn that enemy at least stayed dead. This is no longe roccuring. Squads are respawing to full health and full members. That is ok... however if it is such then they should suffer injuries as well for those that I killed before dying myself.
Ok... sorry for being so long but just wante to repor these issues and since I wasn't entirely sure they were bugs decided to post here first hopefully a dev will take a look at this.
The injury system is working - it's just a random dice roll (you got lucky).
As for mob respawns, I'm still trying to figure out why they get to respawn all their lost souls too. It's like swapping in fresh fighters after you've been beaten to a pulp.
Squads you kill stay dead, but only if you kill the entire squad.
No injuries with all those deaths sounds impossible: by contrast, I did 3 ground exploration missions (RA5) and received a major injury every time I died.

That's what I thought which is why I brought it up. I am not kidding about no injuries... i really didn't get any and i kept trying to use the regenerators I had figuring I must be missing them somehow but eveyr time my little med bay showed nary an injury.

Oh I agree or at least if they get to respawn like us then they should be subjected to injuries as well.
