Is the slider bar for a Trill's Overall Pattern supposed to do something?

I don't see a difference as I move it. Is it doing something that I'm not seeing or does it do nothing? I'm confused by it - not sure if it's actually making changes that I can't see or if it's bugged.

It doesn't seem to do anything for me, either.

Maybe there's more than one slider, I don't remember, but I know there's one that effects if the pattern is protruding from the skin, flush, or recessed. I would assume this effect only shows up if you have the right graphics settings turned on.

Lex is correct. If you do not have normal maps rendering on your computer, you will not see the effect.

It seems like a relatively subtle effect, but I like the options. That said, I'm not entirely sure it's canonical....

it's mainly there for the other patterns that do use that kind of effect.

Could be my eyes since I am not getting any younger... But I swear it makes the the pattern move from convex to concave (innie to outtie) etc in appearance.

Probably not. But it's NOT subtle, if you turn your graphics up:

That's definitely what it does. Bumpy and spotted Trill, oh yeah.

All right. I'll look closer in the character editor.
