Good day trekers .

At the begin ... im not bigest fan off "forum trolling " but after long time i decided to write something here .

Question to all still in game :

Did you noticed the emptiness in game ? My friends list is like 20- 30 ppl long .... from time to time i can see maximum 1-3 ppl loged in ( all time zones , checked allot off times ) . Also lately i have started to level up another character and i see now how empty the game is . On my main character i spend 99% off game time in Borg areas ( like all RA 5 ) so ammount off ppl is kinda steady .... on begin areas ( Sol and near ) is empty :(

I have readed allot off topics about how meany ppl are curently loged in , in none off them i saw ay reply from Gm-s ( scared ? ) . Shame , this game have got so big potential :( Been waiting for STO long time , now im losing my interest with game more and more ..... no ppl to play with , no interesting content at all ( for some off You meybe is interesting to buy more "skins" in cryptic store , for me is not ) , Universe is not allive , PvP is a joke , market ...there is just no words to describe market atm ( did person who made scripts for market played any MMO game at all ? ) , crafting system ..... same as above ..no words . From 2-3 weeks im doing my dailys ( not anymore actually , no point in that ) , infected , Cure , KA .... boored also after few runs ( anyways who needs 8 th or 10 th mine luncher or another beam ? if im not using antiprotons ..... )

I really want to see this game to be alive , im an fan off Star Trek and i like wholle idea to made MMO in Star Trek universe , only one thing .... made game for the ppl and made it right .

p.s Sorry for my poor english skills .

Rehad o/

I saw a lot of people leave but I also see the same old group of misfits I've come to expect to be on anytime I log in.

    Not enough misfits though.

This has been covered so many times before... It's spring, almost summer in some places. People don't have time to sit inside playing games all afternoon and evening! :) For students, exams are coming up and I for one can't stay on any extended period of time as I have study all day instead.

So there are many reasons to why the game is a little emptier than usual. On the other hand, I haven't noticed it much leveling my alt... I also get to do missions in a PUG...

He isn't talking about a dying game at all. He is talking about STO. Is STO a dying game? Facts please.

And no, a lower population than last month or the month before isn't proof. It is normal for a huge dip in subs in any MMO. Even WOW didn't start with all the subs it has now, nor was it all an upward trend from day one.

Stop making stuff up and pretending you know things you don't please :). You don't know any more than i do. You could be right, but that would just be a lucky (and unfortunate) guess based on nothing but your conclusions based purely on your personal feelings and not an ounce of fact.

What rank are you? They're probably all living it up in Gamma Orionis!

Theres no shortage of players doing STFs I assure you. PvP has been surprisingly busy lately too!

Well, I don't play STO anymore, even though I'm a lifer and I still hang out on these forums. I also went over to a better sci - fi MMO, but still hang around here looking for snippets of information that may let me know if the game is worthy to come back to or not.

Yes, it is puzzling how some people act like an mmo is an ex-gf/bf that dumped em and now they're stalking them. You're not even getting the exercise from stalking in a forum. If you tried a game and didn't like it move on ffs. :D

    Same here.

Sorry, OP. I felt the same way you did. I wanted the game not to flop, but the fact is it did. Expect the population to continue to decrease until it hits a plateau.

Luckily, no matter how crappy the game is...its pretty cheap to keep a server going.
