What is cryptic doing with the latest upgrade to the STF's??
Did they fix the map transfer bugs?? NO
Did they fix the borg getting stuck and respawning already defeated groups?? NO
Did they fix the beams that seem to get glued to your character for a short time?? NO
Did they fix the bug where the queen in infected winds up stuck in the ceiling?? NO
Did they add more spawn points in Cure to keep you from running the borg marathon when you need to beam back into the map?? NO
They took the Cure and Khitomer Accord and made them HARDER. Now the boss at the end of the of the ground mission in Cure has an AOE that extends over 60 meters instead of the 25 to 30 it did before. And they removed the bridges that spanned the second group of 4 generators. (for the uninformed you could sit on those bridges to snipe workers and not agro the other borg). And on Khitomer you know have to deal with both gates at the start spawning ships at the same time instead of back and forth so your whole group could race back and forth between them.
Why did they do this as apposed to fixing the previously noted bugs??
To satisfy a very small minor group of elite players that felt the missions were too easy and add another half hour onto 2 already time sapping missions.
Cryptic has a long history with its MMOs (starting with City of Heroes) of never focusing too much attention to existing bugs unless they are deemed total show-stoppers. Oh they do eventually squash many pre-existing bugs, but they always focus a good deal of attention to other things like "fine tuning" task forces.
Not really defending their priorities one way or the other. Just letting you know that this is business as usual for Cryptic so don't waste too much effort trying to persuade them to do anything different. *shrugs*

Or, in the process of software development, they acknowledge that those bugs are harder to track down (keep in mind they have to: 1) replicate your bug themselves or 2) guess where the bug is from a myriad of interacting systems).
Fixing bugs usually takes longer than the adjustments you mentioned.
