Targeting Turrets...still...

Yeah, that;s right. How long must we continue to target turrets. I cycled through my targets 3 times before it would finally target a person and stop targeting turrets. I have the option turned off that is supposed to prevent us from targeting objects, but that obviously does not work. I have a button programmed to target closest enemy, yet it wanted to target the turrets as well. Even though an actual player was my closest target.

How much longer will targeting auto target turrets when I want to target an actual player? It's extremely frustrating when you are PvPing. Manually targeting is not really an option in PvP because if they are hiding behind turrets, well, you are going to target the turret every time you try to manually target the player behind it. Not to mention that action in PvP is just way to fast for manual targeting. Especially the way the target boxes are, they are too big for manual targeting.

Seriously, how much longer are we going to have to fight with targeting turrets before it is finally fixed? This has been an ongoing issue since pre-release.

Now granted, I generally target them anyway, since they go down pretty quickly and are thus easy to eliminate, but you could always... click on the target that you want instead of asking to take away the ability to auto-target a turret or shield generator.

In other words, when using a feature such as auto-targeting, you tend to lose the ability to distinguish between various threat levels (a human player being more of a threat than a turret). You can have something automatic and simple, or manual and (slightly) more complex, that's the trade off.

Now, they could possibly come up with another auto-targeting toggle so that you can only target players, but for my two cents, I'd rather they spend the dev time on making my bridge functional.

That's the problem, they *do* have an option to not target objects...problem is, it doesn't work. It's the fix I'm asking for. Not asking for a change in game mechanics, I'm asking for an existing mechanic to be fixed.
