On the main page under videos they have done a new one with the DS9 fleet action, but it shows the space section as well as the ground.
Is the space section already in game or is it being added soon, or is this just for the video?
I've tried to find this several times with no luck and I've heard conflicting reports from people who say there is a space section and some who say there is not.
Anybody know for sure what is going on as I really want to do the space fight.
dont know about the space mission all i know is the ground part of the mission is SO AWFULY designed its not even worth redoing at higher levels.
Infact i just tried it and logged off in disgust.
Cardasian mobs that
1. beam in support
2. generate holographic members
3. who all throw plasma grenades
4. who also beam in more support
5. who spawn so stupidly quick you really do need 20+ people to even succeed.
Sorry but another fleet action ruined by TRIBBLE mob design. Like the crystaline entity this fleet isnt fun its a chore.

Quoted for truth. Have tried the ground part on multiple occaisions (No sign of the Space part yet.) and just got tired of getting overwhelmed over and over and over. Yeah I know, Shoot the holo-projector. Try targeting it with a half dozen holo-cardasians are swarming around it shooting at you and you can only get 2 or 3 other players for support.
Not gonna waste my time on this one any more.
The only one more poorly designed would be 'The Big Dig'.
Captain_Revo - There is no space part. Video was probably of some other mission.
Awarkle - Shoot the holo generators, then focus fire on the Legates. Ignore the Guls, Glins, and Gils until all the Legates are gone. Every time you shoot a holographic Gil, a kitten dies.
i play the space part all the time...unfortunate that it seems to not add points to the tally.
when you beam in, the circular access hatches there allow you to go to the space part....

there are two cargo bay doors that flash but they dont let you through. ive tried before the mission starts, after the mission and during it but i cant get out
this is my problem. some people say there is no space section, then someone comes along and says there is and this video now shows a space battle.
There is a space section to the mission, but for some reason most people don't seem to be able to access it. I was told you go to those doors back where you start after you finish, but so far I haven't been able to get to the Space section of the mission myself either.
I havent tried the space par tyet, but the ground part is somewhat long. I do not have the issues other people stated here, I was in a group of about 20 other captians and we slowly but surely mowed down the cardassians turned off all the shield generators, saved the auction house and the prophet.
I never understood why the felt like making a video out of this specific fleet action. Its by far the one I avoid the most for being the most tedius and unremarkable affair second only to the big dig.
They should also change the name Cardassians to Cockroachians.

ive played an completed the ground bit three times trying to find this mythical space section. maybe it was there but then taken out for bug fixing or something
as for the ground bit, if you can get 20 people together its fun. if its only 5 or 6 it can be a real pain
I'd also like a DEV explenation for whats going on in that instance.
I see blinking Airlocks / Shuttlebay Doors but they never did let me do anything.
Now a video is up with a Space Section??? WTF IS GOING ON???
also in the video you see Jem Hadar and Cardassian ships, but on the station are only Cardis and Holograms of more Cardis, no Jem Hadar at all.
The most horrible part of the instance is taking OPS, the second you go through the door you stand in plasma fire and are under massive gunfire.
Why not place a BOSS there instead?
A Changeling maybe?
I found it fun. The OPS was overwhelming and taught you to roll out of the door way to clear more room for others. First time I played it through I had to admit, it was a hard fleet action that required some teamwork but if you had it, it was a fun challenge. FYI - The rewards need to be tweaked as I was top dog on this before and got some generic junk.
Trick to Ops: Send your team in long enough to get your engineer to put up a barrier, than drop the other goodies and go back in, helps a ton.

if any devs read this i love an accurate answer
Its all in a days work.
Oh, took 1 hour from start to finish also.
