TBH, your attitude dosen't help you. No one else has this problem or your thread would already be flodded with people yelling at Cryptic to fix this, and you're convinced that it is not related to you, yet no one else seems to have problems getting in...

Did you consider that there might be problems with your ISP?

The point is: This may not be directley related to you but is must in one way or another be somewhere before your signal reaches Cryptic, and I just checked... I have no problems getting in either.

I've been on at various times of the day and have zero issues as well. Haven't had connection issues since about 3 weeks after Beta Ended.

have you tried connecting to ST:O with and without a proxy set? first thing to try if your connecting without a proxy is to add one

try pinging the cryptic servers, from a command line as administrator in vista\w7 type without the quotes "ping patchserver.crypticstudios.com"

if pinging works try using the nettest tool
    http://files.champions-online.com/nettest.exe
when its finished right click the window - select mark and higligh the text and paste an update

Looks like something is selectively blocking either our ports, or just blocking anything "non-standard". Triple check your computer for a software firewall, and if you can't find one try talking to your ISP.

That would depend on what is blocking them, which is either something on your computer, or something being done by your ISP. There is no way for us to know, so you have to check both.

If you're running windows try going to start > Settings > Control Panel and check the windows firewall.

I've see some windows updates flip this on without notice.

If it's on try setting it off temporarily and try testing again. If it works then you can go thru and configure it to run correctly when on. Might not be it but It's a quick check at least.
