Having RESPEC problems, can someone please help me...

Okay, I just made rear admiral and am trying to respec my skills...

Got everything the way I wanted it but it will not accept it...

It keeps displaying "cannot buy skills in combat or if nothing has been changed"

What does this mean exactly??? I even tried clearing everything and respec'd from scratch, no red stripes, all areas have been taken care of, but still get this annoying message when I try to accept my specs...

HELP...

did a respec yesterday...got to the end 67000ish/67000ish (whatever the max points are.....its too early in the AM to look them up) points spent and allocated, and the accept button was greyed out.......

What I did to get around it was to take one skill point out of a Tier 1 skill, the accept button came live at that point, I hit accept.......then went back to my skills sheet like I was skilling up, and put the point back in.....it worked.

try that, it worked for me

It's an issue with the respec not seeing a change if the number of total points spent during the respec is the same as after respec. (um ... yeah ... that is a bit ... um ... dumb ... -shrug-)

What I've done to finish my respecs is to just not spend the last 500 skill points ... click accept ... then CLOSE the repec window and back away from the retrainer (other wise it will try to charge for a second respec when you do spend the last 500 points.)

Once you've closed the repec window ... just hit the k key or click the Skill Up tab and spend the last 500 points however you want to.

It's what I've done on my last 4 respecs and it works fine ... just make sure to close the respec window after you click accept & before you spend those last 500 points ... I've lost 2 respec tokens by not doing that before I noticed.

I had this problem after I hit commander on my alt, it's a bug but you can get around it.

It's not accepting it because it thinks that you're not changing anything, but you get around that by getting enough skill points to spend on something else (anything else) beyond what you already had. Doing so will unlock the accept and you should be fine :)

    Hope this helps.
