i was bored one day and decided to mess about and try out my fed shuttle craft in pvp. It was fun running about and trying to out maneuver big cruisers that could kill me in a single shot and i did better than i though. however it would have been much better if the other big ships had to find me first rather that just saying whos the idiot in the shuttle craft.

what would be great to see in the game is a sensor system where each ships sensors dont just allow you to increase certain abilities but are required to have you target thing automatically. this dose not mean you cannot not see the other ships it just means that you can't target them automatically (get a big square that tell you "their over there"). this system would require two abilities, one that allows a way to manually lock on or paint the target once you can see them (just click on the ship you see) and an ability that temporarily increases your sensors to max for about 3 secs so you can just check to see if there is anyone out there.

here is a scenario, your in a cap and hold map and for some reason a point is been caped even though you have high sensors and cannot see any enemy escort sized ships around, you hit sensor sweep ability and quickly check for ships. you spot a small ship hidden in some wreckage caping the point and go over to blast it to hell. suddenly and shuttle jumps out and starts running away moving over and back to make it harder for you to manually lock on with the manual lock ability. your to good for that and just click on the shuttle and blast away.

im suggesting this because i believe there needs to be far more to combat than just how many ships and how powerful they are. and it would make smaller faster vessels and there colour scheme an option for certain scenarios.
