Taking a break.

As the title says, I'm taking a break from STO. I bought Just Cause 2 and I''m going to play that for a while.
I probably will be back at the time they add ship interiors. I shouldn't want to miss that!

See you later, alligator!

It's always good to take a break or two. Too much of a good thing is never a good thing. :) I took one a few weeks back to play CoH/Dual Pistols and will probably be taking one at the end of the month to play CoH I17/Demon Summoner. And then there's always the little breaks I take to play the other games I'm subscribed too. Hope to see you back here refreshed!

warning: playing just cause 2 makes you want to grapple hook and parachute everywhere in every other game you play.

I just came off a break from STO myself, enjoy it.

If there's one thing great about STO - it's being able to play other games on the side.

I'd have never finished both Mass Effects if I were still playing WoW as my MMO of choice.

I took a 3 week break from trek, did me good for when i came back and started an Alt, had great fun going through the game again. now im at captain starting to get a bit bored again knowing soon, i will have nothing to do again.

I went and bought champions online, now my second ever MMO.. loving it so far even though its like STO in almost every possible way....i find it great though switching between the 2 games ( should get a discount for paying monthly on both cryptics games :D )

Will come back and check on STO when 1.1 update comes out

Not really. Starting from the basics STO is 99% instance missions whereas CO is 99% open world missions. That, itself, give the two games a completely different feel while playing.

I been taking off and on breaks as well usually because thiers not much to do. Love final fantasy 13 and other games that have come out plus baby keeps me busy but even then right now theirs 0 replay value so I come back when a friend wants help or wants to do something together but in all honesty this game just gets boring fast.

Starting from the basics, its the EXACT same game engine. (minus ship combat)

Well Taraq. what can I really say here? I'm certainly glad you're planning on coming back - I don't think you'll be disappointed with ship interiors, the team's really putting in a lot of work on them, from what I can tell.

That's not the only exciting thing we've got in the pipeline though! Keep your eyes peeled, you might just find something to lure you back before then!

I am still, in the meantime, closing this thread down however.
