Just changed my subscription to lifetime. Really enjoying most of the game. One question. How do I change my text to the blue lifetime subscription option? Thanks all. :)

Hey manbencen and all other new lifers. Welcome to the lifer train. With so much negativity in the forums, I love hearing from people who enjoy the game as much as me.

I really like this game. But I can't see myself plunking down $300 for a lifetime subscribtion.

Money and value-for are different to everyone. I have LTS's to 3 different games and subscribe to 4 more and don't begrude the money I spend at all.

I've got 2 accountys with City of games. One I've had for over 3 years and the other for almost 2. I wish I'd have been able to purchase a lifetime for those. Imagine the money I'd have saved. As for STO, I've been waiting for this type of game all my life(all 37 years of it this June, lol). Does it have some problems, yes. But, no game is perfect. The thing I like about MMO's is that they are always evolving and have the capability to update. I can't even keep track of all the console games I or the kids have purchased over the years that we've been stuck with. Long live STO. :D

If this turns out like other games I have played (EQ, EQ2, SWG, and others...), I will be playing for awhile, so the cost is worth it in the long run, it would cost $360 for 24 months of gametime paying monthly.

Heck, I played EQ for four years, EQ2 for two, and SWG for three, all that money...

    That alone is $1,620...

If they had offered lifetime subs, I would have only been out around $900
