Got jumped by two klingons, Kragnnnar and sejat, or something like that. In couple of Bops. They subnuc me, so I wait to die. They somehow managed to not kill me. Knocked me down to about 20% health in the 25 to 30 seconds I sat there twiddling my thumbs.
So I pop RSP and killed one and got the other down to half health before he battlecloaked and ran away.
The second time they killed me, used a tricobalt torp on me. Why they didn't use it the first time I don't know, but they had the audacity to taunt me after their miserable first performance.
Third time, for some reason, they didn't use subnuc. Killed one, then another fed showed up to help. Last one ran away again.
Oh I didnt mean it in a bad way, As it stands most "Klingons" left in the game are fed alts anyhow and at least that keeps the PvP going for a while longer.
Wow, a fed ONCE beats Klingons and things he is a hero at once. Should i open a thread for every fed noob i took out?
May be they had just a bad day? May be they were distractet? May be a bug turned out their Torpedos, happens now and then. May be just bad luck? May be some other bug? Ok, may be they are just idiots, the Skill of Klingon players havent improved since the Exploration is online.... but i dont see a reason to open a thread concerning that.

After that they left the zone.
They were feds playing there alts for sure. A true main player Klingon would of ripped thru you like paper in about 3 secs

I posted it because it was so bad it was funny. And I don't think I'm a hero because I beat them, any klingon that uses subnuc BoP combo... and loses, just sucks. Come on, Klingons were handed an "I win" button, and they still TRIBBLE it up....two of them!
Does that mean DOB is a klingon fleet?
fed alts klingon alts, pvp is a mindset and skill. to say that a general klingong is better at pvp then a fed because a fed levels more off PVE rather then a klingon which levels off PVP is incorrect. I have been on both sides and both sides have crappy players all around. Some of those players that people say were "amazing klingon players" fell like paper cards when fighting against us.
It is not skill to use a CRF constantly and kill people with HYT3, It is not skill to survive using RSP stacked in a row. It is not skill to VM and SNB every enemy. That is strategy, skill comes from how you combine those strategies into teamwork. You can have all the strategy in the world if you team doesn't play well then it's GG.
I know it is easy to say a person is skillfull but unless this game allows for 1v1 fights it will be difficult to quantify that. The individual builds people are using is the key to success. If you are building for a 1v1 build and heading into a 5v5 map then you are doing it wrong. If you are headed into a CnH map then fine that maps warrents a more solo friendly build. Knowing the situation is key. I personally use sets of officers, 1 set for 5v5 premade, 1 set for 5v5 support, and 1 set for a CnH.

to compare the Klingon player base with a month ago is already not valid. The KDF lost a lot of good players due to their frustration of a lack of content/attention from Devs/Cryptic.
I am sure a fair number of Feds also stopped playing, but even now, besides the alt KDF toons of most Feds, our decent players still rule the spacewaves. In total number, the Feds have as much talented players as KDF, only the KDF percentage is much higher.
Fed side>>10% is gifted with a MMO brain and social flair to make friends that rock too
KDF side >> 40% is gifted enough to overcome most barriers where Feds trip in teamplay
Which will hopefully get fixed in the coming patches, because that is not how pvp in this game should be.
Nothing to fix really short of the changes to SNB which is going to be even better and VM which if you cant drop your target inside of 12 secs anyway. It comes down to most Klingons due to pvp from day 1 know which buffs to use and when to use them and what to look for as far as what their opponent is doing. Klingons in general mind you are better players over all.

Amen brother.
I've fought many klingons in Kerrat 1v1, including three listed on the awesome player list (won't name names out of respect for the players), and I still beat two of them, and one I fought to a standstill. Does that make me awesome? Not really, I spammed RSP. I've been killed many times by klingons there with the subnuc/vm BoP combo. Does that make them awesome? Nope.
Until they fine tune the skills and abilities in this game, there'll always be a way to get the easy win.
Even in group PVP there's not even a remotely close approximation of player skill by only referencing player damage and healing. What about that perfectly timed Aceton Field 3 on a escort? Cut his damage in half for over 20 seconds, that could be a life saver. That's just an example, there's many more game saving abilities that aren't added in.
All the complaining about an imbalance between SF and KDF is just snap judgement from people looking for excuses. Both factions themselves are pretty well balanced for a game this early in its lifespan. The balancing that is needed is weakening of certain BO abilities and strengthening of others. As Izzx said, there is always a way to grab an easy/lucky kill over even the more "elite" players and theres ways to last almost indefinatly.
Too many people play this game like its single player, people expect to be able to do heavy damage, tank, heal and pump out science abilities with skill, and then whine when they're mediocre or worse at all 4. Its extremely hard to judge a players skill on how they fly alone, team strategy's, BO layouts that compliment your teamates and successful execution of those strategies are what seperates the skilled players from the unskilled.
A single player can solo a relatively large group if that group doesn't know how to use intelligent tactics. Sure PvP has allllllottttt of changes needed, for an MMO, its damn early in the game's life and they're already adapting to the community and will continue to do so if people provide logical suggestions for change and not just NERF SNB!!!! or CLOAK, UNFAIR!!!! or RSP RSP RSP CHEATER!!! etc etc.
