Hi all i have a problem.

I seem to be getting a slight stutter when playing STO best way to describe it is like microstuttering i suppose.

I have messed around with graphics settings but quite frankley with my setup i shoudnt have to alter any video settings so im finding it very frustrating why i have this slight stutter.

I have used Cats 10.3/10.4./10.4b/10.5 beta.

I have clocked cpu back to default

i have used D3D Overrider

i have reinstalled windows 7

I have disable all gadgets

i have uninstalled AV software

Im not sure why else i can do to solve this im only on my first 2 weeks of the game and cant really play it without the stutter

Has anyone else had this issue and if so found a fix i would be most grateful for any help

Thanks in advance.

Dean, I looked over your system and dont see anything major, what are you running for anti aliasing, and those type settings in game. Thats a massive card, but running down some of the shadow options to 100% and lowering antialiasing might keep the stuttering from happening. I would assume at first the issue to be graphical, however I would also check your bandwidth throughput using the tools available, you might be getting a large packet loss or a huge delay getting the information to and from the server which is making your client position correct your ship show up as micro jerks, check that side of the house. Also whats the temp in your case, that system is pretty high powered, and you might be suffering some loss in video crunching due to dirt or lack of airflow through the card (video) itself. Barring the complete reload you already did that would pretty much tap my brain of immediately suspicious things that could be causing that sort of issue.
