5 vs 1 Fed science vessel, barely gets damaged. Another engineer ship shows up and heals= game over for Klingons at Captain level.
Taking VM, Subnuc, and even FBP out of the picture, if just one of you had TSS III or TSS II and Tyken's III and Siphon 2 you likely would have dropped his shields all together. Now, if two of you had worked remotely together you absolutely would have dropped his shields and killed him in under 5s. Didn't have TSS ready at that time you say?, no problem, BC and break combat, switch out, come back...profit.
Looks like somebody put on RSP and waited for everyone to fire on him. Then put up maxed out Feedback Pulse.
And with major profit. Though all solutions mentioned above would have fixed that issue or they could have waited until fbp was over until they started shooting.

FBP doesn't count as dps output man, when facing mostly beamboats, that's not a show of skill, but a show of using a skill that's balanced against them. That's like fed dropping mine fields on the respawn point in WZ's, and saying, " look at my leet dmg!! "
I can put number similar to that on a carrier using FBP spam, takes no skill at all, just RSP, FPB, and HE/ET's.
To the OP, what it does take, is controlling the Sci ship 1v1, or overwhelming it. Most builds can only handle 1v1, if that. You make it 2v1, odds are he can't CC you both, at least not 100% of the time. Seems to me, you had players who got outclassed in every way. (Though a grandfathered TyR3 SShip is nasty @ RA5)
What may have happened is that he drained shields/weapons, etc to zero 'enmasse, and then went straight hull. That or buds decided abandon ship = leet dps.. dunno, wasn't there, we can only assume what took place.
(Though I have had 3-4 Fed's attack my carrier, and couldn't kill me for anything.

I stand corrected.
I must be the most noob player in the game with my "fbp only" bop.

in a 5v1 you are allowed to lame as much TRIBBLE as you want to "even the odds" and survive. view it as a form of equalizer. its all fair game when your in that situation
this includes but is not limited; tss, rsp stacking, vm, snb, fbp, evasive manuevers. DDoS attacks are foul play though
\let me see, that's escorts, sci boats and Klingons that are all OP accroding to various threads...
...I suspect I've missed the 'Cruisers are OP' thread during my travels.....

I saw it right next to the "Runabouts are very OP" thread last week
But wow, 1 sci vessel vs 5 klingons, at least one of which has got to be a BoP?
Did that sci vessel have chuck norris as captain, or were all 5 klingons trained in the Advanced Stormtrooper Marksmanship Academy?

Hah, until they fix hull tanking you'll never see any of those threads, thanks for the laugh though
I would like to think I am a decent PVP science captain.
I know if I take on 5 klingons and win........I will ....I will......Truely I have no words as to what I would do cuz that seems so far fetched to me.
Last time I took on 5 Klingons -
- I was dead about 1/3 of a second later.
To be perfectly honest, my first ship was a cruiser - mainly 'cos I'd read lots of stuff that suggested Eng captain/Cruiser was the way to go (I know now not to read the threads written in green crayon any more).
After being torn apart spectacularly in PvP by Klingons who went past me a 3x lightspeed sounding like chainsaws, while my ship dissolved in a flickering green kaleidoscope of violence, my reaction wasn't to post a 'Klingons are OP' thread, no - I thought 'want one of them!'
I'm wary of saying 'TRIBBLE is OP' because I am not a god of Boff skills, I don't (probably) optimise all my Boffs, or even my own skills, so if I get slaughtered by someone I figure it's more likely that they are more efficient than I am, and I try to figure out how to improve, how to (perhaps) get closer to the standard of the guy who just swatted me... it's actually one of the very few real challenges in this game in my view, to raise your own game to the level of those who have beaten you to a pulp.
My 5th toon is probably going to be ground oriented, for example - as a month or more ago the Klingon 'Holdholdhold' swatted me aside without slowing from a fast jog, and I'd like to be that deadly on the ground....
...so don't complain 'X is OP' unless You are positive that's true, and it's not just that you aren't actually playing a very good builld - or your build is okay and you aren't playing it well.
Whilst if you are sure 'TRIBBLE is OP' then before you campaign to kill it, at least give it a go to see if there are good reasons to keep it that way.
Now, where's that Bat'leth I picked up at the Risa PX?

Post your ship loadout, bo skills and tactics and maybe you can get some tips.
tbh, its kind of hard to offer suggestions in this situation
You can't be serious?
Something like this?
Except reversed and at admiral rank.

Nerf santa claws! he gave me coal.
I'm just curious, what about fed science ships makes them over-powered, rather than saying all science ships are over-powered?
*Stabs faithborn with sharpened stale candy canes*
Happier now?
At most, he's got 1 RSP. 5 people should be able to do an appreciable amount of damage through that with bleedthrough alone.

Well wasnt me, although im one of the few who can actually pull such a thing off and survive.
Your best bet against a sci tanking ship in that fashion is tbss. Watch him or her assplode.
