Immunties.

I think after we are attacked with a CC, we should be Immune to this TYPE cc for a divisible set of time based on the length of the CC.

example would be, somebody repeating JAM on you over and over. or VM somebody, then somebody VM him again, and again, to keep him from playing.

ifs its a 10second cc, then you get 5 times the length immune upto 2 minutes, so 50 seconds immuties for this type.

I think this would make pvp more enjoyable.

    immunities would be good, tho the discriptions of some skills suggest that immunites should already be a part of the game, they just dont appear to apply themselves. A visible icon would also be nice so you can identify ships with immunities or you will be using skills blindly

    I agree 100%.

    This was already suppose to be a part of the game.

    I've been screaming about it since launch.

    there are immunities, its just that they only get applied when the debuff is prematurely removed (via science team or something like that)

    Yes I've seen the "near immunity" hold protection occur under those circumstances.

    Unfortunately I've never seen them WORK under those circumstances even when the immunity buff is active.

    i've had it resist 2 of 3 vms that got lobbed at me the second i started moving again. the third one still landed. It's unreliable at best, useless at worst.

    edit: and i'm not kidding, 3 vms in 5 seconds... Damn I must be popular

    I heard that lol.

    Yesterday I saw 4 purple VMs in the air at the same time at the start of a Salvage match coming at me.

    I have noticed A LOT more Sci Captains in pugs here lately.

    I think there were a lot of re-rollers about 2 weeks ago

    Correct me if I'm wrong but aint there certain duration immunities already in game? I mean when you are being VM'ed you can use sci team or omega ability to free yours and while those abilities are active you can not be CC'ed again till they expire. Think the issue is with different duration on the cooldowns for the "counter CC" abilities. My VM will recycle faster than your sci team for example so I can use it on you again and you cant do much about it.

    ive been vm'ed , used sci-team to cure. and vmed 2seconds atfer...

    sci-team says is continues to cure for so long, but it does once and goes away,

    they either only trigger if they get removed prematurely or have a duration shorter than the actual debuff

    Immunities - no. Higher resistance - yes. And VM only works half the time even without the post-VM near immunity. Use it and see.
