    lag doesn't cause bsod.

i think wht your actually seeing is fps drops caused by overheating and bsod due to the same problem.

Unlikely... you may experience lag because (as the person above me said) your computer is having software/heating issues. The BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) is usually caused by a hardware failure or some software either doing something it shouldn't be doing or not doing anything at all when it should be doing something.

I say it's either time to upgrade to Win 7 or spend about $300-500 on a computer upgrade :)

    Picard2010,

You might want to check out our writeup on Blue Screens on the Champions forums:

    http://forums.champions-online.com/showthread.php?t=80407

We've provided a lot of information on how to diagnose the kind of problems that lead to these kind of OS crashes, most of which comes from Microsoft and Sysinternals. The comments from the other two posters are on the mark, though.

If you are having a crash in an ATI or Nvidia driver, we generally want you to submit the system crash dump so we can work with them to get any bugs they have fixed. The whole process is explained in the forum thread above.
