We all know that there is always one customer that you'll find at Quark's Yes Morn the Lurian.
by theway I haven't seen any Lurian at all in STO.
and why is it called at Quark bar when Quark isn't even there. There is no way Quark will leave is bar.
Well, DS9 occurred ~35 years ago and Quark was in his 30s to 40s then. Morn had to be older given the one episode where the 25 year statute of limitations had passed. They are probably retired or dead.
The timeline is advanced 30+ years past DS9. Morn is probably moved on. As far as why the bar is still called Quarks, it's quite common to keep popular names when something changes hands. Ray Kroc didn't change the name of McDonalds after he purchased it from the McDonald brothers.

No ferengi will ever acceppt to call his proprety someone else name.

In ST you can live u too 200 years old. maybe not human but other species I believe Tuvok was over 130year old on VOY

True. But Morn's species was never really explored. They may all be raving drunks that die at an early age. Plus, Cryptic could just answer that by saying "Morn was killed in a shuttle crash."
Yeah, but the point is you're saying why aren't they stil there in 30+ years. We're simply saying because few people stay put for 30+ years. They might have moved, they might be dead, it could be anything. We're not talking about a year here. We're talking about decades.

Morn was there for all 7 season. except a few time rarely.
according to you ho wise one. yeah Morn should still be there. if not him than another Lurian.
sorry if you don't like it. but i do
Because DS9 should always have a Lurian on it? That station comes equipped with a Lurian each time it changes hands?
You need to realize that life and time goes on. I'd much rather see Lurians made available as a BO race to show how the species has evolved and joined the Federation over the last 35 years then just have them doing the same old sitting at a bar 35 years later. YMMV

The fact that they haven't bothered to explain little details like this has bothered me since OB. How hard would it be to script a little thing for the bartenders saying Quark's retired to a moon orbiting Delta Vega IV, just a hop skip and a jump from Risa, or that in honor of the famous patron Morn, the management now offers a special called the Latinum Sunrise, with real Latinum mixed in a cocktail of Lurian Tonic?
There, I just wrote those. Just like that. Took me thirty seconds.
Details like this can make or break this game. I want to feel immersed in the Star Trek Universe. Little snippets like this would draw in a lot more hardcore fans.
it always intrigued me that he ( Morn) was alway at the bar and never heard him talk
and it was good to read about him on a ST wiki
They had a line prepped for him for the final episode of the series. And cut the scene. I believe he gets to speak in one of the special features. The writers according to some of the trek magazines and other sourcebooks did try to write dialog for him from time to time. But it usually got trimmed before it even got filmed. The line for the last episode, though, I believe is available because it did at least get filmed. Then cut.
Anyways, like I said in my other post, the novel that is for the game does expand on what happens with both Quark and Morn in the chapter that has Quark being interviewed by Jake. So the backstory does get filled in.
I don't want to give anything away though, so that's all I'm going to say. The book is ... written in an odd way. But gives a lot of information. And has a decent timeline at the end to help you fill in from Nemesis to current in game stardates.

Yeah looks like now we have to buy book to knoww what happen.
I just hope ST won't turn like StarWar with book that confuse more than it explain.
but yeah i'll buy the book i heard a lot of good review about it.

Yep.
People keep forgetting that the game is set 30+ years in the future from the TV shows. That's why you keep bumping into the children of famous characters. Having said that, why isn't one of Morn's nephews sitting at Quark's Bar?

Morn might be alive, but Quark is probably dead by now. They never told us how old Lurians get to be.
There is one episode in DS9: "The visitor" where there is an aged Jake Sisko played by Tony Todd (Worf´s brother from TNG) where Nog (as starfleet captain) said he was at DS9 and Morn was still there. Quote Nog.
So he should be implemented
The way I understand it, Morn only looked like he did because of the latinum he was hiding in his stomach... It made him a very sick... Morn's species...

True. But I wouldn't buy a Big Kroc.
that is if the Bar owner is a ferengi in STO
But "Quark" might be the "John" of the Ferengis. It could be a common name.

I'm sorry, but I think you do every time you buy something from McD's.

I won't spoil it. Buy the book. Read it. Get your answers.

I'm sure the Grand Nagus' brother gets the best medical care Ferenginar has to offer.
Oh and to the OP.. Morn should be added, he was an oversight. Its not like they have to script dialogue for him.
So he should be implemented
