I bought a copy of STO some weeks back and my wife ended up playing more than me. So I gave that account to her since she had the highest Character, and bought a Digital copy from Gametap. I installed it on my pc, and activated the key. Now it just has both games on my account but doesn't tell me how to get a subscription for game number 2. Plus when I log on (we have two characters on the game number 1, mine and hers) I can only create one more Character. In LOTRO I had two games on one account and we both logged in with the same user and pass but chose our own game which we were able to lable in my account. I would really like to play the game with her, but I want to do it with the new sto game I bought. Any suggestions?

I started a ticket on it this morning and still haven't heard back.
I would do this
create a second account.
Open a ticket with billing explaining the problem that you have to game keys on one account and need iyou new key sent to the second account. (only billing can fix this)
you will likely need to verfiy ownership of both accounts and likely be better and faster to do this by calling billing on the phone. (although it will cost your the phone charge.)

I also tried to start a new account and put in my email, of course it wouldn't let me with the same email address I figured they didn't want me to start another account. I guess I will use another one of the emails I have.

The number was in the support FAQ and yes you need a separate email for each account.
Yeah I found the number. They are closed though. I'm guessing I will have to wait yet another day for someone at cryptic to help me. I submitted a ticket this morning. I guess I was dumb for assuming I would be gotten back to within a day.
