Cannot access Cryptic Servers

I am posting this on behalf of a Fleet member:
I can't get the launcher to load, it keeps giving me an error of "This program cannot display the webpage". I tried going to the official site to see what's going on and it's not loading at all.

AT ALL.
This is weird, everything else is working fine, it's just the STO launcher and website... As it stands I can't open ANY STO site pages, so I can't even request support from them...

UPDATE: And apparently www.crypticstudios.com isn't opening for me, either, but the CO site loads...
My account name is TavisMacRaith, let me know if there's any other info I need.

Pretty much if your using a router your not able to load the launcher. As well you cannot access the startrekonline website.
If you disable the router and connect directly through your modem, like me, you'll be able to access the launcher and the website. However you will not be able to authenticate your account. =[

common Crytic likes get this fixed!

I personally use a router and have no problems at all connecting to STO. But I'll pass along the suggestions.

heh there's something else wrong, not everyone is affected. I wonder if it's an ISP issue. I'm with Shaw in BC.

Update: After running a Tracert and sending it to his ISP they found out they had a server down.

It's a SHAW Canada issue.... the net works fine for most places, but STO is not one of those places. Some have even said they are having issues with wikipedia.... I am on shaw as well. Check the unable to authenticate post.

    Peace

might be a shaw issue as I'm on there too! I'm going to try a whole reboot and hope that helps as it sometimes does... if shaw is the ISP with the server down it won't but I will at least have tried...

    cheers
