So, quick emote question. Is there a way to put emotes on your power bar? We have 10 power bars and it would be nice to set up a couple with common RP emotes for RP events. Trying to scroll through the whole emote list is a bit unwheldly. I know you can key bind them, but putting them on the power bar would be easier.
Anyone know how to? And if not, maybe the Devs could consider it?
there are ways to make hot keys or key binds. how those are done im not sure. but bet you could do that. if it is Like Cryptics City of heros then you can make the key bind then put that bind on the power bar
Typing is much faster than scrolling through the list, so if you don't want to mess with binding it is easy.
/em EMOTENAME
An example of sitting in the captain's chair would be /em sit_captain. Once you type "/em si" a droplist will appear allowing you to select from emotes starting with the letters si.
I prefer this method. You can do it for any emote. It doesn't take much time and you can access all emotes (there are too many to bind them all to keys).
The problem I have with type is that if I try to do an emote quickly during an RP conversation, I'll usually get my fingers mixed up.
It would be nice to at least bind our favorites. Binding to a key works, but a macro icon that can be put in a bar would be nice to for those times when we go "what key was that again?" hehe
I haven't checked yet to see if there is a /macro command like there is in CoX. I'll try that when I get home from work. (yes, I'm working hard right now)
