crashing ingame and at login

ok for six days i have been crashing upon login or crashing when i manage after numerous attemps too get in game. i have uninstalled and reinstalled that many time i have lost track .now i have mananged to track it down to this The patchclientlib is internally recording error code : 36\nA file was locked that could not be open for writing. - Unable to read back file C:/Users/Public/Games/Cryptic Studios/Star Trek Online/Live/crypticError.exe!
100328 20:18:39 14 [1] : The patchclientlib is internally recording error code : 2\nFile not found - Error discovered during a file complete callback. i did have a ticket open but have now closed it as i am sorry too say support have been of no help what so ever so was hoping someone might be able too guide in the right direction for fixing this

    I think I might be having the same problem. No one from Cryptic has bothered to respond.

    After patching, the screen goes automaticially to new character selection, Klingon Theme, and crashes. The problem appears to be account specific. i have re-installed the game, twice, in an effort to fix the crash. Didn't work. I had a friend attempt to log in using my account. The same crash occurred on her computer. Sent in the numerous automatic crash reports, filed a regular support ticket, no reply from cryptic. per the posts on the forums, the problem appears to be semi wide spread and Cryptc apears not to even acknowledge or address the situation to date.

    Check in taskmanager for old zombie copies of CrypticError that aren't visible. It has a bad habit of doing that >_<

    checked task manager for old zombie copies nothing it now appear,s that it is a patchxfer.log issue it can,t be found when verifying the files when launching opened a new ticket with support and 24 hrs lter still no response

    I opened a ticket with cryptic several days ago, and another yesterday. I don't understand why they are unresponsive. I am starting to get aggravated. I can log in to and play on Tribble just fine. But as soon as I log into Holodeck crash. What funnier is that I set up tribble day before yesterday and was able to copy both my characters.

    i know how you feel six day,s of crash,s i have suffured have done some checking and they have also had the patchxfer.log issue with some champion,s online account,s so come on cryptic sort it out and yes it would be nice too get some response from support after all we do pay to play this game
