The point was that the bridge isn't supposed to have huge groups of people running around in them. Yeah, you can do that, but that's the kind of thing you'd probably do in your ship's lounge (if/when they come out). If I had 30 people in my bridge, I'd expect to have trouble moving around. I'd like to see the devs try adjusting the size of bridges to "normal" on Tribble. Let us see why they decided to make them huge.
Of course, the exceptions are the big cruisers. You could play a decent game of frisbee in the TNG Enterprises' bridge.

In this case I would think the Lounge(Rec Deck) in the TMP Enterpise would be the best place. Open spaces FTW. FYI, I don't mean the Officer Lounge on deck 2 facing aft. Bring on Ship Interiors.
One more thing I would like is for the people that got their Connie, would be a ship skin to make their T5 cruiser look like the TOS Connie with the bridge.
I would agree with that, and/or perhaps an entirely new T5 Federation Class Dreadnought, as was
in the original STAR TREK Technical Manual. How's that for canon? [rhetorical]
That was the one with three nacelles, one coming off the saucer section. These were also used in Star Fleet Battles, which a significant number of us old school trekkers have played - before computers were commonplace. http://www.ex-astris-scientia.org/articles/sftm/federation.jpg
If you want another idea to toss into the mix, a TOS T5 Dreadnought could have fewer weapons (Maybe 4 front, 2 rear) and higher level Bridge Officer posts for a different balance of materials and skills.
I also STRONGLY favor the sentiment of many here that all the bridges should be scaled to their appropriate sizes.
... and THANKS to everyone for your support of this request !
It's obviously something a bunch of us really want.
A TOS bridge would be nice. but I also want the movie era bridges (TWOK and Undiscovered Country). And ones from Next Gen/Voyager that are exact, with no special additions.
An option for a TOS bridge variant pack might be fun. The standard TOS bridge (the most common version), the darker blue and silver version - with those gooseneck monitors - as seen in "The Cage" and, perhaps, the emergency bridge from TOS.
Secondary to that, I would also suggest a pack of bridge variants from the TMP through TUC films?

If we could get teh TOS Dreadnaught could we also get teh Destroyer/Scout class ships! God even the Tug Would be cool someday if they could work out a real use for them.
The Cage, TOS and TAS bridges were basically the same.
Meanwhile, the TMP, Enterprise-A and Enterprise-D Battle Bridge were all the same basic model/design, right? That's actually a nice set of options right there.
I'd suggest each of those as a pack, each with a fourth option that is a blue LCARS 25th century update.
Yeah one TOS variant ship in each Tier would be nice. The single nacelle Saladin ship (Called the Apollo in the Legacy console game IIRC) for Tier 1, maybe a pre-refit Miranda skin for Tier 1, make the pre-refit Constitution Tier 2 with 2/2 weapons (upgrading the refit to 3 forward/2rear). Dreadnought would probably only be Tier 3 by the STO scale, with similar size and capability to a tier 3 Excelsior/Excelsior Refit/Ambassador variant instead of the quad nacelle "Heavy Cruisers"
TOS-era bridges for the TOS-era ships and movie-era bridges for the movie ships.
Since the 3-nacelle design could also be used for Tier 4 Galaxy for the last episode variant...
One of the things i thought was unique with the TOS Bridge is that the turbo Lift was actually at the rear of the bridge and the captain and helm where "cocked" 30 or 45 degrees of the direction of travel.
and in some of the Episodes they even had the crew "fall" around the bridge in different directions and sometimes it really fit with the fact the con and helm are cocked at that angle.
**** EDIT *****
Also i did some checking on a few of the bridges. standing a the command chair and targetting helm brings up a range of Just over 10 meters.
10 meters is like 32.8 feet. so we are looking at over 30 feet from the Command Chair and the Helm Navigation consoles
As a gamer born literally while the original series was on "live" (April 1967), I grew up watching the original series in the first iteration of re-runs. I have watched and enjoyed EVERY iteration of the show and this online game is no exception. But, I must admit, old school is where it all started, and with the exception of the first movie ship, and the Sovereign class--I prefer the uniforms, phasers and the orignal Constitution Class "U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-1701, no bloody A, B,C, D, or E" as Scotty would put it. HAving said that, I wish the Constitution Class that you get from C-store was "upgradeable" much like your Type II phaser, and the phasers that come with Connie. I cant even fly her in repeatable missions as a VADM without getting killed. Put out the bridge, communicators, tricorders, the works, AND make her upgradable to the level of an Assault cruiser, AS you go up in rank--I want max bridge officers, max consoles, etc. SHE WAS the heavy cruiser for her day. My two pennies. If nothing else is possible, feasable or viable--at least please ad my voice to those who wish for a TOS Bridge!
I think you'll be happy to know that Stahl previously mentioned a TOS bridge and interior variant in the works by the same team who recently reworked ESD. It's coming

Unless I'm mistaken, there're not just working on a TOS bridge, but an entire ship TOS interior. I think it's supposed to come out fairly soon.

While I don't want to degrade the work they put into it... I rather wish they would once their tech has improved designed a new cutting edge bridge and ship interior design for the year 2409.

End of March. However, I wouldn't schedule your life around it. That information was put out a few weeks ago and is quite likely to change depending on a number of foreseen and unforeseen events that may or may not take place between those three months.

Jeez...is this a TOS game or post-Nemesis game?
I can't be sure of this, because I've never seen the dev post about it, but I've been hearing lots of rumours about them adding the ability to design our own ship interiors through the foundry, so you'll be able to presumably pick through any fed ship parts from any of the missions. Also, I believe I remember a dev saying that they would be designing more ship interiors after the STO one. I'm hoping for an Intrepid interior myself, and I know of many others that want a galaxy interior.

While I did kind of dis the TOS kit, I can appreciate people's attachment to it especially if they grew up in the 60s...however I have to admit my own penchant for the Sovereign interiors and would love to see a kit for that as well.
Finally, what I would really like is for the introduction of a new bridge design to truly represent the latest in Star Trek design for the year 2409. And I hope it would feature the new smaller scale interiors which was mentioned as something they managed to achieve recently.
For my part, I'm rather sick of the C-Store. The gouge continues. They make us pay for the game, then we pay to play the game, then they make us pay for the features of the game! It's become disgusting and ludicrous.
And most astonishingly, people are ASKING for more C-Store stuff.

So..if thats the case? whats the plan? WE WANNA TOS BRIDGE..! Pretty Please...:D
Mabey for those who have the TOS (Connie) ship should be allowed to have the bridge..It realy would only work with that ship anyway..
Reason..why would you put TOS bridge on an escort or something advance?
Holy cow Krenn and I agree on something....

Can the game engine handle all the JJ-bridge lens flare generators?
But your full bloom intensity on. Stare at a turbolift door. Try ... try your best not to be blinded!

Have you missed all the bridges that came out with the game or immediately there after. those were almost all new future bridges.
