How do I activate the Off-Duty Clothes?

I haven't gotten a chance to play the game since the patch, considering it is STILL patching so I was wondering if I had to do anything special to get the Off-Duty clothing?

Just go to the tailor and create the outfit on the new unlocket slot.

Should be noted that Klingons does not have them yet.

Klingons are never off duty. The True Warrior's Way is a permanent state of mind.

Once you have created your costume at a tailor, you can just right click your HUD avatar image (inside the circle) and select change costume. This method works only when you are on the ground, not in space.

In space, it tells me that I only have one costume. Then again, I have been right clicking my ship icon inside the shield rings and choosing change outfit... I will try hitting F1 next time.

Just had a chance to check this and you're right it doesn't work in space, either method.

I dont see any benefit of being able to change costumes in space. However on the bridge would be nice.

Technically speaking Klingons probably -shouldn't- have an off duty outfit. From a pure roleplay point of view it doesn't really make sense for them. ;)

On the other hand from a "fair MMO player" point of view I would think all characters should have access to this feature. I'm sure if Klingons don't have it yet it's just a minor oversight that'll be corrected soon enough.

Yeah, but to be "fair MMO player", the Feds don't have a playable dreadnaught style ship. I'd give up off duty wear for that.

Klingons do have a second slot, which has the same uniform choices as slot 1, not a separate set of costumes. So you can have two uniform variations.

Hmm - is there a tailor at the Captain's Lounge (I can't remember) - if do, I wonder if a Klingon could get a "proper" off-duty uniform there.
