I bought the special collectors addition, if I am correct you are suppose to have 2 slots for regular edition and you get 1 more for the collectors addition, and 1 more for the ingame accolade. So if I am correct then shouldn't I have 4 slots for characters? Can someone clear this up for me cause I only have 3 slots for characters and maybe I am misunderstanding it. Thank you.
You get two slots to start out with. When you get the "Blood of the Warrior" accolade, basiacally unlocking Klingon play at around Level 6, you get your third slot.
Everyone got 2 character slots and a 3rd one for unlocking Klingon play no matter which edition you bought. People that bought a lifetime account before launch go 2 extra slots. I dont know of any addition slots offered besides these.

2 additional slots were part of the pre-launch annual subscription as well.

If you ordered a Lifetime Membership, you got 2 additional slots (for a total of 5).
There are no more slots after that. Just the 3.

Oh...that had slipped my mind (since I went Lifetime). Yeah. I guess Lifers got the Liberated Borg, as well. Good to know.
