Extra torps?

Anyone else notice that torpedos some times fire an extra round? It doesn't do any damage so it's gotta be a graphical "misfire" lol

Also, I've noticed that some times, if your torpedo's target is dead by the time it gets there, it'll take off in a random direction and just keep flying that way.

    Sometimes I get this and an extra phaser beam as well.

    Yes, it happens a lot in fights.
    And sometimes only one gets fired with High Yield.
    Not sure why.

    Yeah, I see it too. But don't let them change that! It looks great and it gives you a feeling of really taking the fight to your enemy. Even though I know it doesn't do more DMG, it's a lovable cosmetic goof.

    I had that issue also. It's kinda like your ship reverting a previous position when in sector space. It's probably lag related.

    I find that happens mostly in fight involving asteroids. Some small ones still block line of sight resulting in a faux actiavtion of weapons.

    I thought that was just the animation that showed when you launched a critical attack against the enemy ship.
