Any one else think the Klingon voice is.... well odd?

The new Klingon computer voice is odd. Doesn't sound very Klingon. Sounds more like Freddie Kruger is telling me the enemy's shields are down. Either that or it sounds like a Klingon swallowed a borg tribble. In any case, it could use some tweaking.

Thoughts?

Yeah it does sound odd, it sometimes sounds more like Borg at times.

Sounds fine to me. Remember it's your onboard computer that is talking.

Make sure that you don't fall asleep on your ship...or anywhere else for that matter.

I mentioned this in another thread, but honestly I think all they did was use the female voice but lower the octaves or bass down quite a bit instead of re-recording a male voice. Unfortunately, it would be lame if this is what was done. :(

I'm willing to record Klingon vocal notifications for FREE if they need a non-SAG actor for this part. :D

Yeah, there's already a thread about this over in the Klingon part of the forum: http://forums.startrekonline.com/showthread.php?t=143897

So far, the voice of Michael Dorn and/or a moody, swearing Klingon female have been suggested as replacements. :D
