Great Ideas, Any Viable For Use?

My clanners and I have been talking about this, that, and the other thing about possible things we would like to see come to fruition.

Space Combat:

1.) Have a Free For All 15 man (preferably limited to class types vs the same class types).

2.) Have a 5 or 10 man King of The Hill map with spawns similar to Cracked Planetoid, but have a single capture base in the middle. Have it like the points system in the salvage maps too, where if you hold it the enemy loses points. The winners are left with the most points.

3.) This one is possibly the best and worst one weve come up with, but arent you tired of people with 5 Reverse Shield Polarities, or multiples of other skills such as Science Team or Scramble Sensors. Well, weve come up with a possible solution that is both good and bad. Good in the fact it will require strategy, but bad that the current strategy will have to change.

Here it is, and a brief explanation of what I am about to describe. You know how when you click a skill and if you have multiples of that skill they gray out for around 20 seconds or so? If not please get two of the exact skill (Tier doesnt matter) and click it. You will notice the ones not click are grayed out and unusable, but the actual cooldown for the skill clicked is whatever its cooldown is.

What we have come up with is a shared system for each Tier of that skill. So, in our suggested system to Cryptic we would prefer to see skills that are the same in each Tier share the same cooldown, and simply do away with the grey cooldown for skills currently not in use while the other you clicked is in use. That same skill in another Tier would not be affected at all until it is clicked.

What this would force people to do is get more methodical in what they do, will make them better, and move PvP and PvE along better than it is now we think. This would also free up people to do other things as well.

If you do not understand this here is a brief example of what we are suggesting.

Tier 1 Reverse shield polarity: You would only need one of these since having two would be pointless as it shares the same cooldown and gray cooldown.

Tier 2 Reverse Shield Polarity: This one would not be on the same cooldown as the Tier 1 or Tier 2. This could be used back to back no waiting after the Tier 1 expires.

Tier 3 Reverse Shield Polarity: This one again would be on its own seperate cooldown from the Tier 1 and Tier 2, thus able to use back to back from the other Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 ones.

This may be a little too extreme for some, but we at AOA thought it deserved some thought from you guys. Maybe it will spurn other thoughts.

4.) Have a open PvP zone for T5 players with a limited amount of purchasable starbases to be bought from a safe location by clan leaders ONLY from each side. Also, have a safezone to spawn in if your clan doesnt own a starbase, and let the starbases be destructable. Maybe take a page from Lineage 2 MMORPG where leaders setup a time to attack it and that gives the defenders time to defend it.

5.) Ships to add (all can be found in Klingon Acadamy & Starfleet Command 3).

Fed:
T1: Okinawa & Oberth
T2: Akula
T3: Excelsior
T4: Ulysses
T5: Missouri

Klink:
T1: PLH
T2: QuD
T3: Suvwl
T4: Vodleh & Feklhr
T5: Khaless & Pumml

Ground Combat:

6.) Objective Based PvP (think King of The Hill only a couple more objects to control).

7.) Mobile Transporter (usable out of combat only and with a cooldown timer of say 1 hour).

    dozer the reason why reverse shield polarity has a global cool down with its other versions is because other wise cruisers and voquv would never die

    Just used it as an example, it would limit most people to 2 of the same skills, and some who have unlocked the T3 of said skill could use a third one. It was only an example though since we all know it well.
