Simply put, the PvP queue list is very unorganized; especially for ground encounters. I see one random map queue for FvF that places you in what appears to be the only assault map. There are no random arena map queues, unless they're hiding.
Just not a simple thing to use, is all.
Also, teams are still un even. I just spent about 30 minutes waiting for a LC Ghost Ship match to fill up, only to be outnumbered for a quick lose. Thanks for the XP, but I'm not having fun playing your game.
I agree. The new "random map" queues are odd... it seems to me that they're just an additional queue for the same map. I can't tell though. They don't seem to move any faster, and even though they say "random" in their title on the left side, when you click, it has a specific map on the right side, leading me to believe they're just an extra queue for the same maps.
Furthermore, the "random" ground assault map is absurdly titled: there's only one, Shanty Town.
Just keep it simple. Just que a capture map, and an assault map for space. And just ground in general..since they are all the same pretty much. Then just have the game randomly pick a map.
The question is this: is there more than one instance of each map? If so, then maybe this is working... if not, if there's only ever ONE Ghost Ship or Cracked Planet per tier going at a time, then multiple Queues for the same map is just making queues LOOK shorter, while they remain the same length.
I could not agree with this post more. The PVP UI is a complete mess.
While we are on the topic of the PVP queue, I would also like to add that it's unbelievable that what they call the maps in the quest dialogs do not match what they are called in the PVP queue dialog.

I would recommend them taking out a few of those. If few people are que'd, all those extra maps spread out whats already thin.
3 queues,.. 6 total for all pvp faction types.
All fits on one screen.
