6/10
Some small steps in the right direction.
However i do have a serious concern.
If Season 1 content depth is a gauge for future coming Seasons then this game is in serious trouble..
Sorry to sound alarmist.

I'll be able to give an accurate rating when Season One is over.. which in my view corresponds to the beginning of Season Two in July.. I am very much looking forward to the additions in April and May..
I'll give my personal opinion, although I need to spend more time playing it.
6/10
I appreciate some of the features, but it seens like a bunch of small changes and not much content-wise. I'm very hopeful that season 2 will include a ton of content. Whether or not I'm around for that will depend on how quickly I run out of things to do.

Well, there's always alts. Then they'll be improving Memory Alpha before Season 2 comes out, so you'll have crafting to keep you busy for awhile. And of course if you do run out of things to do before then, you can always take a break and re-sub once the new storyline missions in Season 2 are released.
Overall some good FA's and such, a few nice bug fixes and UI improvements, but not a whole lot to salivate over. Season two needs to roll as soon as is humanly possible. There just needs to be more (and more interesting) stuff to do.
EPS nerf makes me a sad panda. I'm also on the fence about changes to cannons and Rapid Fire.
Skill tree is still a mess. I know there was nothing really planned here for Season One, but being as it's such a central part of the game I'm floored they're just leaving it "as is". There's no more detail to tell people what the hell certain skills actually do. By now, most forumites have a pretty good handle on them, but they're still largely ambiguous. To add to that, we have three new skills that will quickly become mandatory for almost everyone. While they're good skills, it exacerbates the problem with precious, limited skill points at Admiral.
-1 point for the new cruiser skin. Mother of god...who came up with that? I came to terms with the Deep Space Science Vessel and the Star Cruiser, but that...wow. Just wow. What a hideous starship design.
was kind of hoping they would realise they were making STF's for such a small percent of the playerbase leaving others with absolutely nothing else to do at end-game and make infected/cure easier but nope they got a ton harder.
First, Cryptic made changes that a lot of players wanted (auto holster, off duty clothes, shields ring). The new stances / hairstyles are welcome too.
The new fleet actions are good and the level banded thing was much needed (provided that it works, I was still playing with a bunch of admirals at SB24 yesterday).
I can't talk about the new TSF since I'm still a little Commander, but end content is needed too. I can't talk about the new items in exploration, I didn't see anything new yet. I hear the Klingons got some love too, which was long overdue.
I give it a 6/10 (a few new missions would improve that dramatically).

so, opening up every fleet action to T5-level difficulty isn't enough?
Oh, wait, I forgot. You seem to think everything in this game needs to be soloable and done in a half an hour.
6/10, for staggering the ships and species. They shouldn't have done that. Advertise them for launch on the video and right them IN THE WEB PAGE for Season One, and then change your mind, is TERRIBLE.
funny i've never said anything like that. Oh, wait, I forgot, you're an *******.
Every complaint thread you've started on Infected being too hard because it's designed for organized groups and not pugs says otherwise. Maybe not the ******* part, but I've never denied being one.

It seems that it was a miss communication error, not them changing their minds. The devs consider all things released between the Season 1 update and the Season 2 update to be part of Season 1. So to them internally, Season 1 is going on for the next 3 months. So technically, all of these things are technically part of Season 1:
Difficulty Slider (April)
Death Penalty (April)
Full Autofire in Space (April)
Memory Alpha Improvements (April)
Commodity Mission Revamp (April)
STF Khitomer Accord (April)
STF Undine: Terror Dome (April)
TOS Mirror Universe Female Outfit (April)
TOS Female Minidress Update (April)
Joined Trill - Klingon Faction (April)
STF Children of Khan (May)
Sitting in Chairs (May)
Accolade System (May)
Exchange Improvements (May)
Squad Leading - Sidekicking (May)
Episode Replay (May)
STF "Into the Hive" (June)
Trading Existing Bridge Officers (June)
Random Bridge Officer Requisition (June)
Dabo Minigame (June)
Ships
Cruiser - Sovereign variant - March 25 (available now)
I give Season One an 8 out of 10....I'm quite happy with all the new uniforms, characters, perks, etc....I would have to say a little more on the exploration missions would have got a full 10, but alas if we call it perfect then we leave no room for improvement then do we? Kudos to the Dev team and Cryptic Studios as a whole. Keep up the wonderful work guys
Id say season 1 is about a 7/10. I like alot of the stuff but the gating of the STF missions seems unneeded to me. Also FvF will just mean even less people for Klingons to fight with. All in all a good first step in a series of steps.

FvF, Fleet Actions.
5/10 for content
Fortunately, the devs have said many times now that Season 2 will be very content heavy.
edit: oops
Nice new features not enough new content or customers forum expressed wants.
Edit:
7/10
I increased the score for good work on the Klingon Exploration content. Its not perfect but its a solid start
lost points to missing things like the races
lost point as still no caitians
Just a month away now. Can't wait.
Fun factor still seems to be lacking. But that might just be a personal problem.
that said i give it a 4 out of 10

I think him saying anything positive about the game would implode the internets but thats just me lol
nope. fleet actions are pointless after doing them once, no rewards at all.
funny i've never said anything like that. Oh, wait, I forgot, you're an *******.
You think more mobs = more difficult? Personally, i think it means more irritating. Difficult is something that reqires challenge, not zergfest 9000.

um, no, it doesn't. you're making assumptions.
