Is there any way to set the forums to not automatically log me out after however few minutes it is?

Because this has become a daily annoyance for me:

1) See an interesting link in the dev tracker Twitter feed, click it.
2) See the dev post.
3) Click reply.
4) Be told I'm not logged in, must log in.
5) Log in.
6) Get taken not to the post I was going to reply to, but to the front page of the forums.
7) Go back to my Twitter feed, find the dev post again, click on it again.

How short do you have the expiration on that cookie, anyway? Less than an hour?

I had no idea either. I leave mine logged in all day and I may check in once every few housr and never have need of logging back in. Is it your browser settings?

If I close the browser, I always have to log back in. I use tabs to browse, so the browser doesn't get closed often and I don't get logged out when I get back to this site.

Ive never had this problem. I'm always logged in.

I think this problem might be related to your own browser settings and how it handels cookies.
