Well, okay, maybe one gold spammer will buy a lifetime subscription. Anything's possible.
That'd be a darn stupid business model, though. I wouldn't hold my breath.
In fact, I've seen fewer and fewer gold spammers out in the regular game lately, whether because Cryptic's been cracking down or because gold spammers realized that energy credits aren't terribly valuable. Or maybe it's both.
I know I sure as hell wouldn't buy any energy credits, even if I were that type of player to begin with. There's just no point.

I dont know... are there enough lifers in that zone to trigger the anti spam hammer?
lol they may have created the only spam safe zone in game
I highly doubt this, but none of us are stupid enough to actually test this out.
But yea goldspammers repeatedly buying $300 lifetimes and getting banned is a nice path to Cryptic getting basically free money and financial ruin on the part of the spammers. I'm sure lifetimers are not immune to bans, either.

I never even considered that people would test it. I'll have to remember that one. So I can be sure not to say it to anyone, I mean.
I highly doubt that this is true. To be for sure, we would have to review the License Agreement, Terms of Service, etc that we all agreed to in order to be able to install and register an account for the game. More than likely, we are all subject to the same agreement/terms.
If we (lifers and monthly subs) are all under the same agreement/terms, then the violation of the terms by a lifer would simply result in a more costly silencing/banning.

Thats $300 a pop just to spam and get silenced / banned.
Then they go and buy another $300 account or leave.
Meanwhile the farmers are funding the game so Cryptic can actually hire more staff and get the content out.
Meh, more likely Cryptic will still shovel trival garbage out the door while reaping in the money but still... one can hope.

If a spammer shows up, it won't be because he bought a lifetime, it wouldn't be a sensible investment.
It'll be because he stole his LTS customer's account.
I predict it happens by the end of the weekend.

They'll just hack a lifers account for nothing, and have him spam until hes banned, costing him 300.
