Klingon ground missions - scanner

I didn't see this posted anywhere...

On the ground missions now available for Klingons and their allies, the scanner... makes a noise and a fancy red circle that spins around the scanning character. Which doesn't really help that character or the person playing that character find the mission objectives. Which are sometimes hard to see in all the green fog swirling around on so many of the planets in Klingon space.

Working as intended?

    No.
I bugged this on Tribble (as did many others).

Brings me back to the good old days of beta when I'd dump any scan mission I got due to their being annoying 30 minute hide and seek games.

I sometimes suspect the devs do these things on purpose to foster the proper 'Qu'vatlh' attitude among the Klingon-side players.

What Dublin said. Has been bug reported extensively when it was on Tribble. So ... they at least know about the bug.

I hope a fix is incoming.

    It is frustrating.

But it doesn't do it all the time...
My first ground mission with my Klingon and I was supposed to destroy some satellite pieces. The scanner wouldn't help me find the pieces at all. But after I destroyed the last piece and the prompt became "download data" the scanner DID point me in the direction of the piece containing the information to be downloaded. Very odd.

Ya the dead batteries in my Tricorder has made 1 or 2 missions a little longer....

But all in all the Klingon ground missions are awesome. I've dropped all Fed activitey as originally planed and resumed leveling of my Klingon main =D
