I've noticed that new science consoles e.g. from requisitions can have roughly half the values that the consoles I own are stating. Is this a display bug, or an oversight, or some insight beyond my ability to fathom?
I was just wondering whether we'd find ourselves in a game where trade is around ultra-rare 'pre-nerf' consoles... which is an interesting idea, but perhaps not the best move?

I noticed the same thing.
I have mark VII and VIII commons that are better than Mark IX commons.
At least, according to the hover display.
My examples are Halon system console and Tomographic imager consoles.
