DS9 Task Force

Speaking as a lifetime subscriber, I wanted to give my approval to Cryptic for making this task force. It be mad fun, yo.

Wholesale slaughtering of Cardasians is enjoyable. I don't care who you are. Even Ghandi would enjoy this. However, the decision to have the Cardasians not actually move around isn't so fun. I was only able to awesome them up with mines twice, and that only because they were chasing some coward that was in the same zone. I didn't get his name, or I'd report him for running away in the face of the enemy.

Anyway, thumbs up. Don't change it due to whiners who want to hammer away at one stupidly powerful mob instead. More mobs=more fun.

    you mean fleet action, but i enjoyed this too. it was pretty much just mindless killing or stunning (which ever you prefer to think of it as) but i enjoyed it.

    they need to add more space fleet actions though, last few have been on the ground and space is more fun

    The only thing they need to change is the transition from the ground based action to the space fight. That is awkward and most people miss it because they don't realize it's there.

    Other than that, it is awesome.

    Yeah, if you go back to Captain Kurland after you finish in Ops, talk to him and then exit via the shuttlebay doors theres a space fight against the Dominion and True Way ships.

    See, most people miss that because it looks like the fleet action ends in Ops.

    That last sentence is true in my case, as is evidenced by my last post...

    Don't worry, I've missed it myself too. I've just been told about it as I left the action but missed it. I'm going back in later to give it a go.

    if we can do this mission with our fleet mates alone...in an own instance..

    all fleeet actions should be have an option to make this not as a free for all instance...

    10 people group alone in an own instance...or 5 people ...or 20...

    now it is only chaos...everyone do what they want...no coordinate...nothing...no feeling...

    fleets should have more mission they can do for themselves...

    The transition from Ops to the space combat part is dreadful and needs to be fixed - especially given the number of ships you are up against (wont say much more as it will be a spoiler!).

    But yeah - if you are reading this thread - go to the starting point at the end of the ground combat phase so you can join in on the space combat part... looks like it would be a blast if we can get enough people to participate in that bit of the Fleet Action!!! :):D
