Hi there, short question, is there a reward planned for the open and especially for the closed beta players?
A special title or insignia,... like you have it now for the lta??
I think thats a normal procedure... for that thousands of bugs I reported :-P
What do you think about that?
There isn't one that I am aware of, though some players kicked around and suggested Cryptic give beta testers the Green Bug combadge for their beta efforts.
Twas a cool idea, I would still like to see it happen.
I think a forum title would be appropriate... A "Legacy" Global channel that's exclusive to beta players perhaps?
Otherwise, from what I understand, the head start is a big perk none of us non-beta players got, or the one-week grace period after launch. (Free time is free time.)
Special Envoy and Ambassader were both given for time signed up, ambassader should've covered least the closed beta period. Though I suppose once they finished the accollades system, there'll be plenty of titles for you to choose from.
There were a couple, a title or 2 like Ambassador or Special Envoy I believe that were given out for something back then.
Those title were for people who signed up for the forums before sometime in 2008 and who signed up in October 2009 for some voting deal to promote STO.
u right, because that, for everything they give a freebie, but nothing for that People who really do somehing prodoctive for that Game... And nearly run mad in the earlies

The green bug as communicator would be nice... or a title, uniform (blue worker overall, lol), emote ("obiren's toolkit", where you can repair some devices)
They did give a title to beta testers they wanted to recognize as having gone above and beyond. "Red Squad Member", or something like that.
Yeah, they gave us (in Red Squad) a title: "Red Squad". There weren't too many of us in Red Squad, though, so the majority of the beta testers really haven't gotten anything. Still, I use my Red Squad title in-game because it is semi-unique, and my other 4 titles just don't really compare.
I'm all for a perk for all the beta testers, but I'm not sure Cryptic will. Seems they would have done so by now. I really like the green bug comm badge idea, but I doubt we'll get anything, really. (I'm not really pushing for anything, mind you, but free stuff is always nice. )

Cryptic please think about that issue.
I played several mmos and the betaplayers got everytime something Special
In game titles :
Special Envoy (Account before May 22, 2009)
Ambassador (Account before October 2009)
Nothing for CB or OB or HS
Cryptik already gave out a lot of "freebies": the two titles plus something for lifers. I think that should suffice.
right nobody forced... but in the beginning it was really frustrating...
i suport this
What about those that signed up and didn't get into CB - why reward people that were already fortunate (frustrating or not)?
shakedown crew
as we were there to test bugs and stuff
... there are alot of possibilities...
