I and my fleet have just tried twice to beat Infected and guess what......IT DOESN'T WORK!!

I know right!

Not to sound like Gommer Pile but Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!

How could you frack up a mission that had nothing wrong with it in the first place??? Both times we got the main tans-warp gate to around 20% and after that....NOTHING HAPPENED! No more mobs, no more lowering of the shield, nothing! A complete waste of my time! I guess in the push to release another raid, you frack up the only one you had! BRAVO Cryptic BRAVO!!!

It's not uncommon in a patch of this size for things which seem totally unrelated to become sporked. It's been happening since the days of UO and it will continue on into times when we are playing mmos on a holodeck. It's just part of the beast.

Actually they were adding some stuff to Infected to make us play it the RIGHT way.

If you mean by RIGHT you mean "Without exploiting" then yes, you are correct.

Did you read the text, they added a hint about how to complete the mission. Maybe you should try listening?

And if you mean right by not taking the transmitters down then yes we did it right!

Doesn't matter. Reading to the text, or listening to Gozer, who made the mission. I am interested actually in the hint, and if they added a hint to Rebecca's fight. All I need to know to do her is what abilities remove Nanoprobe Infection. Once I know that, she will be easy as thats her only major ability.

shes easy lol even with the patch did it on the test its even easier now really since you just fight on a box but the space is bug tried it and it just reseting the mission it looks like when you get it down to 20%

And if you think I'm talking about the ground part, you're the one who isn't reading or listening to my texted!

Let me use small words for you!

In the big space battle at the beginning, you have to destroy the trans-warp gate. You CAN NOT start the ground part until you complete the space battle.

    To the OP,

Instead of being the back end of a horse, why not report it as bugged and let them know that there was something wrong? You know, computer code is incredibly complex, difficult to predict at times, and occasionally gets messed up during a major patch or rework. Sometimes you change code in one spot and it has an unintended consequence elsewhere. They will get it fixed as soon as possible.

So, instead of showing the world you are the back end of a horse, why not be civil and report the problem? I do it all the time in every game I play.

With about a zillion reports in right now, I felt the need to vent my anger as well as make a report.

If it offended you, maybe you shouldn't have read and replied to the post!

So how about you look the other way and not as you would put it, resemble the back end of a horse!

Because you're so much more civil calling someone a horse's TRIBBLE?

    Thanks for the feedback...

Found a small bug that might keep the Tac Cube from spawnng... it's fixed... fix should be out to you as soon as the builder dudes get a patch ready and out to you...

    Sorry for the trouble...

Okay we found the bug. It was a tricky race condition that would sometimes fail to spawn the Tactical Cube you need for the final stage of the gate. (It shouldn't happen every time but is probably around 50/50)

We have the data fixed internally. It'll get tested in a new build as soon as possible and hopefully we can get it live in short order. It's hard to give an exact time but I'll give an update tomorrow on an ETA to live (hopefully it'll be good news and you can be kicking Borg butt again!)

Edited to add: Oh noes! Double post collision with the Gozer!

*Clap, clap, clap* Bravo for the support there Cryptic. I honestly don't know if I have seen soo many devs post in one thread, find the problem, fix the problem and someone not end up banned in the process. Gives me a whisp of hope for the community and game alike lol. 9 times out of 10 I just sit back and watch as the flames are stoked and people fighting people but with all of the response in here and the feedback (albiet the OP went about it in an obtuse route but ended up being received and processed in a positive way) I think this is one of those instances that I can call something positive in the forums. wow:)

Because it's not an offical swear word it's used on BSG which in turn is on TV and it's not censored out.

"Frack" is specifically allowed on the forums and IRC. I have an email to that effect from the head of Cryptic's PR department.
