pfft, a monthers opinion is worth 1/1000000000 of a lifer. Maybe you better get a blue name too if you want to be taken seriously around these parts....
Personally, I'd like to see open PvP in certain areas. A dedicated, neutral-zone sector block would be nice. It could be like DSEs, but with actual players instead of getting hunted by AIs.

Actually, a "monther" will pay more in the long run than a "lifer". If all those lifers suddenly quit, Cryptic wouldn't lose a single dollar. And we all vote with our wallets. Now that you already have cast your vote and won't vote anytime again - why should they even try to convince you of their product, heh.
But just go ahead and feel even more special. Really. Some of you obviously need it. *duck and cover*

Technically, Cryptic wouldn't lose any money if monthers quit, either. They would just stop gaining money from them.
Well, my name's blue, too, and I say - why the heck should we, the players, get a say in whether we want a death penalty or not? Did any other developper of any other MMO ever ask you about your opinion on that topic? No? Well, then why should Cryptic.
All the MMOs I know that work with a death penalty didn't lose any paying customers due to the death penalty (if they did lose customers, it always was due to other things). All those clamouring against a death penalty: C'mon, you're kidding me. I'm not the world's best player - certainly not. But so far, I can count the numbers I've died doing missions in PvE on my ten fingers. I mean - it's really HARD to die in PvE, at least to my experience. And the few times you actually DO die - well, I don't mind to suffer adverse effects for being stupid. It's called a learning experience.
This is the kind of TRIBBLE that is exactly what does not need to happen.
Even if its a joke and you're doing it for giggles, mockingly flexing your so called superior status in the game and community is going to do nothing but drive a wedge in an already small playerbase.

But I also say No to a mandatory DP.

I'm closing this thread down.
