Customer updates

One thing that can get customers unhappy or dissatisfied with a MMO is the lack of communications. The MMO staff does not inform the community. Currently there is a patch going through that seems to be having trouble, but no change to the initial information has been released. It would calm people down and make them understand the situation if you would just provide information about what is going on. This seems to be a reoccurring problem. You need a new communications officer.

    They have updated the patch thread, it says the new target time is 8am PST.

    WAT??? Dude...seriously??? Is this your first time on a game forum? Please, post a link to the forum where you think the company does better with the public than Cryptic has. PLEASE post it. Because the ONE THING they have more than excelled at is communication IMO.

    Great ! thank you forthe education. Now tell me where I cna find the update. I went to the Server Status tab at the top of the main page that sent me to the Customer Service ... but it has not been updated. Where do I go? There is a patch thread that is 39 pages long. Is that it?

    Well, I have so much to read - why the death penalty is good, why the death penatly is bad, why an optional death penalty leads to lots of love, how Cryptic are rubbish, why Cryptic are great and so on.

    And it is all written in a very earnest style, so I am assuming that it is very, very important...

    I will find the update somewhere in the 42 pages !!! Must be a needle in the hay sort of thing.

    Rules of MMO

    1) Never expect smooth sailing on Patch Day
    2) Never do anything super important ingame on Patch Day
    3) people will always QQ on patch day, point and laugh
    3) If you dribble when you piddle, be sweet and wipe the seat

    Oh lol, so now it's not that "Cryptic sucks at communicating" any longer, now it's just that you're too lazy to go find the notes?

    Fine with me if ya are, just don't complain about the one thing Cryptic has been un-freaking-real with - communication!!! Hell, that's the reason there are 42 pages - they talk non-stop to us!!! Be thankful!!!
