am stuck on what to do, cos getting home and playing STO violates rule number two of MMO, but hanging in forums on patch day makes me giggle like a fatty on sugar locked in a sweet shop
like all the other players, (100,000 Plus) of STO..looking at a Laucher saying..SERVER DOWN with a frown  and looking to the forums for information on new content of this patch..
Finising off a new Computer Build to Clan member and then running out to Store to get snacks for the new patch play marathon when Server is finally up.
Wondering if the programmers at Cryptic even get paid, or if they just drive bye Home Depot every morning and pick up people standing around outside randomly.
I wonder how many programmers Cryptic went through making this game?
Seems like the programmers at Cryptic are just treated like Data Entry personnel only. Paid employees not allowed to give input. Many of us can actually see some of the great work they did only to be ruined by a Creative Director with a lack of vision, or scope.
Then again maybe its that In House Code Cryptic is using thats a relic from the ancient past they are using to make games with. Just doesnt seem like they can do much with it in this day and age of 5-50million dollar MMO production quality games.
It would be interesting to know exactly how much money they did spend on making this game, just in production. From what any of us can see apparently all the money for this game went into Marketing and Advertising. I bet they paid ATARI more than there own employees, or it sure looks like it.
