ok with the difficalty slider bar coming in next month, will this affect all missions even the STF like infected and cure?

i realy hope it dose! you can take loot away from me and marks for turning it down. just hope to have that opption.

    I can't remember if they said it was for patrols and exploration only or not... Hrm.

    oh, so you think because they added a slider bar they should attach it to the one piece of content the game has to offer??

    ummm... wait... actually that sounds pretty good...

    I see my vision of the difficulty slider is spreading! I wouldn't mind not getting the expected "awesome" loot, and maybe just getting marks/badges or just the normal random looting system. Being a former 4.5yr WoW player who was also a main tank on many runs... trying to get 5 random folks on the same page in Heroic Halls of Reflection run got real tiring. Unfortunately STO is not setup the same way WoW is (not that I'm complaining since thats why I'm here) the Engineer "tank" class doesn't have the same capabilities that a tank in WoW has to generate & hold aggro, and the same can be said for the Science "healer" class vs. a healer in WoW. My wife was my healer in WoW, and there were many times the 2 of us could solo 5 man content because of the abilities we each possessed. In STO we have experimented with her not doing a thing with me tab targeting/attacking each mob in succession to gain their attention.... They would STILL attack her regardless of what I was doing so my feeling is that the aggro model in STO doesn't have the same aspects as it does in WoW. Could I be missing something critical in STO... YUP! I'm getting old ya' know! My fingers don't move like they did 20 or so years ago. :D
