So, what are they? Refit T5 versions of the Galaxy, Intrepid and Defiant? *crosses fingers*
Or perhaps the Nebula and the Excelsior?

    T5 intrepid = instant sale.

I would love a t5 intrepid. I'll keep my dssv (its not bad besides the turning) But the other one I got will go to the junk yard in a second.

Cryptic is as vague as Romulan Tal Shi'ar Operative in advanced stages of dementia.

I would like to know too but suppose the answer will be on the store soon enough today :)

Yes but you'd think they give us a heads-up, to prevent everyone from storming the C-store the moment the ships are added to check them out, most likely causing the entire C-store to crash in the process.

    Don't get your hopes up.

One of the ships that is proabably added now was "just" a variant of the Luna Class T5 recon science vessel.
I think someone already posted imgaes of the "new" ship hulls as they appeared on tribble, but I don't have the link right now.

I'm hoping for the Ambassador Class and the Excelsior Class for t3, that would be sweet, or better yet being able to reskin your t5 ship to any of the lesser ships below you such as if you wanted to fly around in the Galaxy Class, that would be really sweet.

None of the cstore ships were available for test, so we dont know what they look like.

Someone had a screenshot of the Klingons but not the Feds.

Just what we need, more ways for Cryptic to soak us for money while we wait for them to finish the game.

I suppose they have to milk what they can before the game is shut down due to user apathy.

I had the new K'Tanca battlecruiser on Tribble. It's a nice looking ship and adds to the early ship selection variety. I wish I'd taken a screenshot to post.

Maybe some clarification is in order:

"C-store Federation Ship Variants – New takes on your old favorites "

This does most definitely NOT mean that they are adding completely new ships, like the Ambassador or the Nebula.
It does mean however that there will most probably be variants of existing classes, like the aforementioned Luna Class variant.

Besides, I believe that if Cryptic would add an iconic class such as the Excelsior, they would let us know in more detail.

Speaking of detail.... even if I would have the extra bucks available to buy the new stuff from the C-Store... I really would lilke to know exactly what it is that I'm shelling extra MONEY out for.

So, Cryptic, can we have some screenshots of the new ships, or will you just wait until the first waves of angry customers storm the forum demanding a refund for buying something that they don't actually like because you didn't allow them to see what they were about to buy BEFORE REAL MONEY was used?

Personally I am looking forward to the Luna Class variant, but curious to see what else they have... I looked for it on Tribble but couldn't find it.

... though I believe the K'Tanco is freely available for everyone and not a C-Store ship.

Besides, we're talking Starfleet here, not KDF.

Actually we don't know what they are doing. You might be right and you might not.

So the Klingons get a free new ship, and the Feds have to *pay* for new *variants*.
    Stay classy Cryptic.

yeah yeah, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Besides, alot of us have received free C-store currency, so it's just a little extra for us.

If you don't have anything constructive to add, please don't try to turn this thread into a "games not finished" thread, Some if not most of us have enough of those to last a lifetime.

Because the Klingons had fewer ships to begin with and fewer customisation options.

    But... you knew this

Seeing that the Klingon's "choices" are ridiculously limited so far, the *thinks* 4 new ships they get are more than justified. (T2 cruiser, T5 carrier variant, some new BOP and nother ship, I think?)

You may do a quick counting of available ships throughout all tiers for both sides. You will see that after today's patch, the available ship choices will be closer to being equal, at least by the sheer amount of individual hull designs.

MMOs are never "finished". They are a work in continual progress. Please stop cluttering the forums with the nonsensical whining.

Klingons already have few ships in the canon as it is. Cryptic already added more.
If they don't like it they can suck it up, the Feds have always been the ones with the most ship variants. Why should we have our choices penalised now because canon doesn't favour the klingons?
    Big babies.

Yes they do, but they had cruisers the whole time while they were not in the game. So stop moaning that people who play Klingons finally get a t2 cruiser (with no variations) when they have had so little to play with from day one.
