If you can, that's the only bit of worthwhile content released in this patch.

Bah, I still wouldn't mind Cryptic giving lifetime players 2 more or 4 character slots for free. Since we did not get to use our 30-free days from our retail product, I would like a $15 equivalent. According to Champions Online, that is 4 character slots for $15 or 1200 Cryptic points. :p

That or add one to two character slots for free with each additional retail key added to an account beyond your first one. Guild Wars did this and I was evebntually able to make one of each character type for that game. :D

Confirmed where? It's not in the comprehensive release notes. I'm not doubting...I just wanna make sure it's really, really real before I get my hopes up. :p

Really? If that's the case, then I'd consider that a bargain.

Uhm, it was in the original Season 1: Common Ground info on the main Star Trek Online page. In fact, if you go there, and click on the event calendar, and then on Season 1: Common Ground, it lists everything being released in Season 1: Common Ground, which included the ability to buy additional character slots from the C-Store.

Unless they've changed/updated the release info for Season 1, it should still be a part of the release. It always pays to do a little reading and research :D

I do believe they are in the c-store as well, it was a huge part of season 1 after all.

While we are talking about things missing from the patch notes...

Did the changes made to Feedback Pulse, Subnucleonic Beam, and Viral Matrix go live with this patch? Or is this info just missing from the notes, like the ability to purchase extra characters slots (I'm assuming those that say we can are correct)?

No character slots are available through the C-Store, and it is not listed in patch notes as being included.
(odd since it was listed as a feature just a few days ago)

    Epic fail...

So, in other words, things not listed in the notes were left out on purpose. Sigh....
