Okay I have this AT crew member who the moment we beam down starts engaging the 'Medical Generator'. Everytime the ability reenergizes he does it again. Alot of times when I start moving he stops to do a medical generator. Does anyone have this problem?

I've got the Medical Generator on a few BO's but there is one that keeps doing this as well, I bugged it but I can't figure out why one of them would do this and not the others.
A small work around that may or may not be helpful.
You can disable any BO power by right clicking it, so he won't stop and get separated on you, right before engaging the enemy right click it again to re-enable.

Good idea, but it doesn't work for this case. He ignores the fact it's disabled and does it anyway. This points to it being a bug even moreso.
Yes, this gets really annoying. My Engineer does it all the time. I look at him and yell, "Would you stop doing that!" Then he stares at me with a blank look, kneels down, and energizes a new one.

Ideas for a fix?

The short of it is that the devs are ignoring Engineers (see Directed Energy Modulation). Science officers get the love.
Hey now... we have Orbital Strike!
Umm...
