When will STO get a site like MMO-champion.com for WoW? So many Dev posts and good little juicy tidbits of info being thrown up daily.. would be great to have a site that can track it all like MMO does.
Common I know a fan out there has the time to do this :P.
It seems daily that someone comes up with something else the development team can occupy their waking hours doing, let them develop the game, when they get some spare time much later on they can develop the website.

No he is saying when will a fan site pop up that acts as an centralized news and info site as opposed to having to browse and search the forums for juicy bits.

Aye, the site I referenced is run by a user/player which is what Im suggesting for an STO site. A central place where all Dev posts, patch notes, strategy guides, interviews and so forth is posted up and updated daily in one neat little package. The way it stands now a lot of good tidbits of info is lost on the forums and from other sources.
I may have to do one up just so I can keep my HTML and XML scripting knowledge practiced.

I've been tempted since I work a lot of night in IT... but of course I get time off and probably wouldn't update during that time... basically I don't think I'm dedicated enough.

I can say we're looking into it at EOGamer. The problem is there are no "feeds" that allow for DevTracking and auto posting. However, if you would like to work with us to see what we can do to have something like this for STO DevPosts, please send me a PM.
Give it about 7 years, or even more possibly, isn't that how long World of Warcraft has been out?
WoW will be 6 years old this year, it launched November 23rd, 2004.
And to answer the OP's question, there are already several information fansites out there, STOwiki, STO-Intelligence, etc You won't find as many sites like wowhead or thottbot since there isn't really anyway to hook into the game to get direct item or quest information other than manually organizing the information (which is why most sto fansites seem to be wiki's where the community contributes to the information sharing).

Huh?
I might have to come up with a site like this if one doesn't exist... Could be fun if I can find the time to update daily.
