Wizard 101 better than STO?
What do you all think?
Well, naturally, if you like to play Wizards in a fantasy world!! Duh! What kind of a silly question is this?!
You want to play Wizards, go Wizard 101, want to play in space and on the ground, in anything close to the STAR TREK universe, STO's your only choice. See how simple?

Or EvE. Or SWG. On the space thing that is. There's also a small handful of new space games coming out very soon. Like Jumpgate. Black Prochecy. Not to mention Swtor.
But yes, this is the only real Star Trek mmo. And its probably going to be the only one of its kind for a long long time. Kind of saddens me actually.
And thats where Cryptic got lucky. Because if the game had this kind of quality and was anything other than Star Trek? It would have already pretty much fallen through the floor.
Is it better then STO? For some people yes. For others no. See, different people have different likes, and dislikes. Just as some people just love blood pudding, and others despise the mere thought of it, there are people who will like one game over another.
Or, this comparison. WoW is probably the most successfull fantasy MMO out there. So, everyone loves it, right? Nope. There are people who despise it. See! Different people, different likes, different dislikes. We are not one homogenous race of people that are identical to one another. Go figure.

Yea thats all very true. And premise has a lot to do with why people buy games. Source material has a ton to do with it.
But I have to wonder if Wizard 101 has more content. If its fuller, less buggy, more fleshed out. That kind of thing.

People still pay to play content in Global Agenda - even with the sub, there's 1/5 of the content as STO and what's there is middling.

Anyways, it looks like a nice kids game. Cartoony. All that.
Not having played it I have no idea what kind of content it has. But it does have customizable housing. And crafting. PvP. So beats me.
Has anyone here actually tried it?
Mmorpg.com has it listed. Gave it a score of 8.0.
STO got a 6.6.
Go figure. So I guess according to mmorpg.com its better. Although thats not saying much.

Without a doubt. Yea.

The game is a huge success though.
Then play it and find out.
I think you need to stop smoking the ganja.
