Costume colour options - bug or feature?

Hi folks!

First of all: I'm not a native speaker of English. So, I just say sorry in advance for any misunderstandings. :D

The topic: I tried to create a uniform at the tailor today and noticed that the first colour of the jacket is very often linked to the first colour of the pants. This means, if I change the first colour of the pants, the first colour of the jacket will change too and vice versa. Then again, if I change the jackets and pants randomly, it is possible to break this strange connection and use two completely different colours. Is this behaviour intended? Because I noticed it both on Holodeck and on Tribble.
Did anyone else notice this? I could not find another thread about this topic...

Regards,
Xiran

Never had this problem myself. I've been able to color items independantly since at least head-start weekend.

I haven't had this, but I've seen colour linking coming up in Tribble bug report threads, so it sounds like you're not alone.

I had this problem with one of my Bridge Officers, I believe it was the Borg BO that did this. Other than that I have been able to wear any different colors I choose to.

If it's any consolation, there's a thread for colorblind people who are accidentally making themselves pink instead of grey...
