This happened to me as well.

What caused it was this: I clicked Holodeck, it went to the Engage button. I clicked Tribble, it started patching. I clicked Holodeck again, and things got messy. I noticed that it still had the patching message, so I clicked back and forth a few times, and got it stuck on the "Connecting..." phase. Closed the Launcher.

I was able to do this a second time. However, the second time, the first time I clicked back to Holodeck, it went as normal to the Engage button. Several relatively quick clicks back and forth, and I was back at the "Connecting..." phase again, stuck.

Not sure if this applies at all to you guys, but if you have access to Tribble that might be doing something? Of course, if you don't click to update Tribble it ought to work normally.

Edit: after a third time, it seems that only a few clicks are necessary. I Waited until it said Engage. Clicked Tribble. Waited until the patch was downloading, clicked Holodeck. Waited until it said Engage. Clicked Tribble, got stuck on the "Connecting..." phase.

Edit 2: This even happened after Tribble was all patched up. I was able to click back and forth normally a few times, but when I started clicking faster between the two, the launcher got stuck again.

Edit 3: Well, this time I started the launcher and it looks like it just got stuck on the "Connecting..." phase. But closing it and reopening fixed it, so no biggie.
