Aren't they? I mean, they're very stubborn indeed!
Iknorite?? Those stubborn Klingons actually think they deserve the SAME gameplay experience just because they paid the SAME amount for the game and the SAME amount monthly that the privileged little Feds do! OMG they are so stubborn!!

Actually, I might even play a Klingon (and not on the Federation side) once they have actual PvE content. Not Fleet Actions or DSE's or randomized cluster exploration, but actual content, as in a few story-lines.
In the meantime, there are plenty of other things I'd rather people be stubborn about, like game mechanics that are missing, or simply feel wrong... way way before Klingons get their story-line(s) in order. Feel free to be stubborn though, and good luck.

First off, there are no "Klingons" on the Federation side. There haven't been since Worf. Any that appear to be Klingon are verengan Ha'DIbaH Hom who lack the courage to be true tlhIngan. Secondly, yes, in your privileged state of gameplay I am sure there are things that you wish were different. Even Paris Hilton desires different things despite her posh circumstance. It's only natural.

No, actually I am a behaving like the stereotypical bitter Klingon who is stuck in the KDF Trailer Park with nothing to do. It makes me cringe to see the over-privileged Feds cry for more things when they have so much and we have so little.
Let go of what? You mean what Cryptic SAID we were going to get?
Cryptic originally planned for them to be PVP only. Then the playerbase spoke up and wanted more. How did Cryptic not deliver on what they said they would?
Common Ground has some Fleet Actions and Explores added. While Season 2 will have even more content. But I guess you expect things now wether its a realistic expectation or not.

False. Cryptic ORIGINALLY wanted them to be a normal faction with "full PvE"(see the two year old video in the post you quoted). Then, when it got closer to launch and Cryptic saw they couldnt do what they had said, they told us it would be PvP only. THEN the playerbase spoke up and Cryptic said they would add more PvE in the future. Nice try at misleading people with false information though

Sorry you feel that way, I bought the game to play STAR TREK, not just Klingon Academy, the MMO, and I also thought I was making my productive contribution, e.g. the threads linked in my signature, for the benefit of everyone, Federation and Klingon alike... Oh well, guess I was wrong then.

What misinformation? This video is extremely old in the designer world. A million and one different issues could of came up that forced them to move from their original idea. Im still trying to figure out how what they said two years ago had to do with what theyve been saying for the past year?
Ive heard plenty of talk from Developers way ahead of anything concrete when it came to a game. I didnt take their word for it until I saw evidence that thats what was already being implemented. The concrete evidence didnt start to really appear until recently. Sounds like you just got overly excited about an interiview that was all about where Cryptic hoped the game would go prior to them getting their hands dirty.
"Cryptic originally planned for them to be PVP only"
If you arent aware, the word "originally" means the ORIGINAL plan, also known as the FIRST plan. And as the two year old video(as well as other interviews) made clear, the ORIGINAL plan was for Klingons to have "full PvE" content. So as long as you go around telling people:
"Cryptic originally planned for them to be PVP only"
You will be lying. I'm not denying that the ORIGINAL plan changed. But the ORIGINAL plan was for Klingons to have full PvE content.
In the Klingonese the word is "tlhIngan" it basically means the people.
In Crypticese the word Klingon means "afterthought".
Give Cryptic a break. The one or two devs who must be working on Klingon content must have only watched 1 season of TOS and tried to put out content where they still looked like out of work tanned up pron stars. And someone at CBS told them they had to go back to the drawing board.
I'm getting really sick of seeing these conversations. Not because of the topic at hand, but because no one seems to be able to discuss this topic respectfully like adults.
I won't be tolerating it anymore. We've said we're working on Klingon PvE content. We've SHOWN we're working on Klingon PvE content. If you guys really wish to keep acting like we're not, and discuss how we're ignoring the Klingon faction, go for it. If you do not do so RESPECTFULLY towards each other and in keeping with the forum guidelines however, there will be problems.
This thread is being closed down now. Feel free to open another if you'd like, but remember what I've said. Discuss and debate in calm, rational, polite conversations. Flame wars do nothing but get you infractions.

Typical troll mentality.

But there is also the old human joke about what you have to blast through to make it to Uranus.

The Klingons should have content that is appropriately evil, not like TNG.
