I was playing ground pvp with my fed engineer, ghost ship. I died and when i respawned i was stuck in a wall. Now i tried unstuck and it didn't work. So i tried /killme, reported it and waited. So after awhile i get tired of waiting. So i logged out and logged back in. Here is where things got interesting.
When i logged back in it put me on the klingon team instead of back on the fed side.
i've heard this from others too, and it has even happened to me. although in my case I relogged because the game crashed, not because I was stuck. this may have been fixed in the new update currently being tested on tribble, the test server, but I suppose we won't know for sure until it goes live.
I wonder if it's at all related to the zoning/re-zoning of some players in space too that wind up on the opposing team. On my Klingon I've seen a couple Feds don the red now and again; even had a few that were more than willing to fly alongside us and shoot their fellows. It was fun

You should be happy, you were placed on the winning team no ?

Well winning is ambiguous because everyone gets rewarded anyway. However i see where your headed with that comment and the majority of fed ground missions i played yesterday we owned the klinks just about all day long.
However in this case you are correct. We were outnumbered in that match badly and lost. Well they did, i ended up on the winning side. = ).
I had a similar problem when i re-spawned at exactly the same time as another person and got pushed back into a wall.
I think you can sometimes end up on the other fraction side if balancing goes to far one way. As its always a bit weird seeing a Fed ship cloak in PvP.
This seems to happen to me every time I get disconnected during a PvP map. The instance can't really remember what team to place me on so it makes everyone blue to me. I don't play ground much so it's not just ground missions.
When it happened on a goal driven map like the Salvage or Mine maps then flying near my starbase usually gave me the proper 'goals' again and turned the proper folks red again. On a map like Cracked Planetoid and this happened there was nothing to do to reset it besides leaving the instance and rejoining.
