Sounds like a moment of truth coming up on this.
I'll believe it when I see it.
Honestly, I am not going to pay another $30 waiting for it.
I hope season 1 has some new content to run through.
The least they could do is give us an extra 3 character slots so we can all have one of each class fed/klink.
What he really meant by " Season 2 release will be all about what the players want" is that it will include contradictory changes that move the game in different directions at the same time, will add a death penalty that rewards failure, will remove the skill cap and replace it with a skill cap, and will include raid content that both requires 25 men and 6 hours to finish it and is also soloable in half an hour.
Because that's what players want, based on the forums.

Not me I want more world exploration and more space, and maybe add some quests in there somewhere. :P

Again we have a case of someone that needs to L2R.
as the interview stated, it is based on the Survey taken, not what is posted on the forums.
so go look up the results of the survey.. that is what the Devs will be working on for Season 2 update.
I'm still holding out for increased bridge implementation. This includes combat on the bridge from the bridge, around the bridge. I also want more ship interior stuff, and missions like the tutorial mission. I want enemies to board *my* ship and bring the fight to *me* first contact style...

IMO that should have been what we got at launch - 6 slots so you could make 1 of each class from Fed and Klingon. 3 slots is really a low number for a new MMO.

yes! Yes!! thats the ticket! And I want that with shorter skirts.
Not really. The reason is because we dont have the results of the survey, and Cryptic isnt going to tell us what they are. That way, they can do whatever they want and we have no idea if thats what the survey reflects or not.
There was another interview with Craig a week or two ago I think. In it, he said that they were using the survey results when making Season 2. He also mentioned the following as their top concentration areas:
Diplomacy
First Contact
Ship Interiors and Functionality
Klingon PvE content
Yesterday, dstahl said that both the Feds and the Klingons would be getting new storyline missions and also hinted at the possibility of the skill cap raising to 50. He also said they had a few surprises in store for us. Personally I am hoping this somehow involves more Star Trek actors lending their voices to the game.

I'll believe when i see it.
I have my doubts that Cryptic can actually accomplish these needs.
I hope i'm wrong.
Well they did say they were going to up the transparency
Oddly enough, they left off the results about how much we think we should be paying for the game. I wonder why they arent being so transparent about that

Yeah, I noticed a few other choice questions that they dropped. Oh well probably marketing or PR or somebody wouldn't let them release the stats saying that people should be paying 5 dollars for this game.

Or... maybe you will.

Goot troll attempt though.
It wasn't that goot. The survey had more conflicting options than the forum does.
That would pure awsomeness. +1

Shorter longer skirts. Roger.
and bigger TRIBBLE through the boob slider, but only the left one.
Well Cryptic released the supposed results

sure they could by lying to us but that looks accurate.
